Advantages: Brakes are fantastic, really lightweight, very well made, overall great Disadvantages: too many low gears, not enough high gears, uncomfortable saddle. But don't be put off...
...After getting into cycling on a cheap £100 bike from Argos it was time for me to get serious. I went down to a bike shop and for my height (6 foot 5) was told to look no further than a 23 inch frame from Giant. We already have 2 other Giant bikes in the house and I was more than happy to follow this advice. So far I have done nearly 600 miles on this bike in the 5 months i've had it.
My choice was simple between a Yukon, Rainier and this one - the Terrago. I tried to balance price with how good I wanted it to be, I found one of these for £325, and bit their hand off for one.
This bike has a massive 27 gears, 2 disc brakes and a lightweight aluminium frame. All of this sounds like quite a recipe.
When I recieved it, it took quite some putting together, but that was fine and was all fairly simple. It feels really solid and really...

...I have just replaced my Fuji fine pix with another camera, and whilst buying my boyfriend bought himself a Lumix FS7 which I am now regretting not getting for myself. Always the way, but whenever I go shopping for something electrical, some guy in a suit always sways me towards something different. Which I should really learn from and just buy online, its usually cheaper anyway.
The Panasonic Lumix FS7 Digital camera comes in a range of different colours; it cost £130 which for a 10.1 Megapixel camera was pretty good and the deal we got meant that a free case came with it as well as an additional memory card. So there were no qualms on the price.
10.1 Megapixels
Right away we was impressed with the quality of the images this camera was taking, I also test the pictures out on phones and cameras by taking one scenic photo, a photo...

Advantages: Light, Great gears, Good looks Disadvantages: Uncomfortable saddle, not the greatest wheels
...I have long harboured a desire to own a half decent roadbike. Fortunately my employers opted into the "Cycle to Work scheme" And I purchased a Defy 2.5.
Looks
This bioke looks good in a largely black and white frame with grey details. The bike itself is set at fairly agressive angles with a nice low handlebar.
Frame
The frame is extremely light aluminium (10kg total weight) and put together with very neat and efficient welds. The geometry feels right on the bike, although if you are new to raod bikes you may find the handlebar set a little low. My first ciouple of journeys resulted in sore back and stiff neck, however you soon adjust.
Gears
This bike features a 27 speed Shimano Tigra setup (3 front cogs, 9 rear cogs) That gives you a huge variation. In the highest gear roadsise blurs past you...
