Advantages: promotes confidence and discipline Disadvantages: high cost of travelling expenses
At the age of 5 my son announced to us as we where driving past our local rugby club that he wanted to play rugby, so could we please do something about it! My husband who at that time could not see past the game of football was given the task of finding out more information.
We where surprised to learn that children as young as 5 years old can play rugby and it is thought this is the best age for them to start. So please bear with me as I try to explain the game to you from what I have picked up over the last 10 years as my son is now 15 and I sure if I get anything wrong all you rugby enthusiasts will correct me.
Minirugby is aimed at introducing children to the basics of the game safely whilst taking into account their physical abiliites. We all know that rugby is a tough sport, minirugby is designed to teach children ...

Advantages: efective little cleaner Disadvantages: Noisy
I have a small home so when I needed a new vacuum cleaner I chose the Dyson DC24 which is a smaller version of the standard model. It cost £189.99. I was expecting almost a child sized vacuum cleaner but there is not really much difference at all.

It has strong suction as you would expect from a Dyson but it is surprising how full the cylinder is when you have finished. It really gets everything up. This does mean however that you need to empty the dust cylinder quite frequently.
The power cable is short and not retractable which can look a bit untidy if it is ...
Advantages: Friendship, Life Skills Disadvantages: Cost
I was brought up playing rugby since i was 5 years of age. In my opinion it is the best sport that a young child can play to encourage friendship and leadership. When a player is first starting the coaches are very sympathetic towards the child and look after the player extremely well and a child is never put in a situation in which they dont want to be.
Nowadays a version of minirugby has come in for 5-10 year olds that was developed in the western hempisphere and now most clubs play it. Its called tag rugby and the child has to wear a belt around their waists which has tags which a velcroed onto them. Each team has 7 players and play similar rules to regular Rugby. To be tackled a player must have a tag pulled from their belt and then they must pass the ball. There is then 6 'tags' allowed until the team must give up the ball. This ...
