...by the dual layer fabric of the side panels in the shorts, again providing support where it is most welcome. You won't find yourself getting too wet and bothered out on the trail either, as these shorts have an incredible ability to wick moisture away from the skin, and to repel much of the crud that hits you from the ground. The leg grippers make sure they don't slip around either, and make for greater comfort when you're shifting your weight over the bike.
I know that lycra is not everyone's cup of tea, but if you're well into the sport, then there really are no better shorts out there for keen leisure or competition use. It's even worth shedding a few pounds just to be able to wear some of these, as they look and feel so damn good! On word about the chamois liner though: it is best to remove and clean this as often as you can after long...

Advantages: Top quality kit Disadvantages: Nothing at all
...Being a mountain bike mad man I decided it was time to get a new bike. Shopping around for a bike these days gets complicated with the huge variety of bikes you can buy and for a wide price range.

This bike is owned by my husband, and I recently trialled it as I was upgrading from a Specialized FSR Comp 2006.
From reading reviews about this bike it is marketed as a XC race bike, and could be a bit twitchy on the downhill’s. Also knowing the people that I know that ride them they are all very fast and technically competent riders, so when looking into buying this bike I assumed that it would be too difficult for me to ride and that a stumpjumper would be suited to me.
So on trialling both the stumpjumper and the epic and found that the epic suited me a lot better, I found that it climbed really well due to a more hardtail set up of the bike but I also found that it was really good on the downhill as well.
So if you thinking about getting a new bike I definitely recommend considering an epic...

A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka.
I began reading A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian following my enjoyment of Two Caravans, by the same author, Marina Lewycka. Two Caravans was Lewycka's second novel, so I probably... more
