Advantages: strong, warm, waterproof and a good price Disadvantages: the hood is onl made out of a thin bit of material so it gets wet.
...I know horses are an expensive business and you look at the clothing catalogues and jackets seem to cost about £100-£150. This are the more expensive names like Mountain Horse. I have owned my saddlecraft jacket for about one and a half years. I was lucky enough to win it. I have looked in catalogues and found it not bad for value. This jacket is very warm and keeps me very dry if it is pouring outside except for the hood which is just a thin layer of material. It has three pockets one inside the jacket, a drawstring at the waist and zip followed by push buttons. I have washed my jacket several times and it is easy to clean and look after and it keeps it colour very well. I would recommend this jacket to any horse riders it is comfortable and is exactly what us horse riders needs. It is strong and comes in different styles. This jacket...

...CAROLINA III LADIES MILATEX TM JACKET
This is a sports jacket, which is very much an outdoor coat. It is lightweight, waterproof and is easy to make compact to stowaway. The secret of this jacket and what makes it different is its design and it is made out of Milatex. It is ideal for days out, holidays, when travelling or just everyday use. Really anytime you want to bring a coat and want to store it and don't have much space as it packs up small.
This coat has some special features that make it better in my opinion than others. It is waterproof and will keep you dry from the rain. It comes down over your bum, which is great, as it keeps it dry. I find this important as it means you are not sitting on wet clothes all day as some coats don't cover this region very well and you still get wet.
No wet gets inside your coat...

Advantages: its very comfort for all seasons Disadvantages: not so strainable
...Everything that's claimed is true.. I've been out in tropical style cloudbursts wearing my Barbour and hood. Everything below the jacket hem was soaked ie the lower calves of my legs and feet. But my Barbour did it's duty and kept the rest of me bone dry!
It is also remarkably wind proof. Combined with a vest, shirt and jumper and a decent Tinsulate lined wooly hat, I've braved nasty cold east winds this winter and stayed warm.I've also been through bushes by accident of course. Again a lesser jacket would have been pierced by thorns etc and as a result, I was saved from some potential nasty injury.
Ok so it does what it's supposed to....
