'Afghan fort' - a mujahedin basecamp with a cruise missile poking out of the roof. Ha ha - in Surrey! A real laught o play though. 7. There were others... I knew we were onto a winner as soon as we arrived - to get into a basecamp you have to walk under a full sized (real) crashed helicopter with two 'dead' pilots hanging out of it. The site apparently bought this last year from the film set of 'Silent Witness'. The rest of the basecamp is equally stunning. So clean and organised!!! As to equipment, it was top quality. brand new looking Inferno guns. But best of all were the goggles - they weren't just "goggles" (like everywhere else I'd been - they incorporated a full helmet too... Read review

Advantages: Great fun, you'll laugh about it for years.
Disadvantages: The pain, and lack of variety in playing fields.

...of the bruises. But I don't think it would have been paintballing without this agony. There would have been no sense of danger, no sense of adventure. Despite the painful side of it, paintballing is something I will always hold closely to my heart, and I will always remember the people I met, and the funny moments. ...This year, I decided to hold my paintballing websites new annual paintball meet in Delta Force. We headed for the Beechwood field. - - - THE COST - - - The tickets cost me just short of £100, but I got 24 tickets for that. In order to book, you have to buy the first 100 paintballs at the full price of £10 per person. But I sold the tickets to the people that came (3 of them) for £20 a piece, so that was good. The paintballs on the day cost £6 per 100, or if you buy 2500 at once, you get them for £5 per hundred. You can get paint grenades, smoke grenades and thunder flash's for £3.50 a piece. But the paint grenades are unreliable. - - - THE GOODS - - - You're equiped with a semi-automatic gat (Paintball gun) which is capable of 7 pbs (paintballs per second) if you really think you have to fire that fast.
