To hit or not to hit
Advantages: Easy to control, lots of distance and reliable Disadvantages: if hit wrongly can be disasterous but only ever happens on a blue moon
...have only started playing with Wilson Staff golf balls recently after i found one when looking for one of my many lost in the trees. I used it once and fell in love. It was extremely effective. Before this i used bay hill golf balls which were effective but no way as near. Even though in shops, Wilson balls are approx. twenty pounds a dozen. Which isn't terribly expensive but if you are new to the game of golf it is a waste of money, as you can buy ...

Nike Golf Nike One Gold Golf Balls
Advantages: Great spin control and soft feel Disadvantages: High price
...a significant improvement on the Nike One. Only recommended for serious golfers with single figure handicaps. If you are looking for a distance go for the Nike Black, or a similar ball such as the Pro V1x, but for those players who place a higher emphasis on feel and spin control then the Gold is for you. Lovely for all those shots inside 100 yards, very consistent so you know exactly how the ball is going to react. The Nike Gold is similar to the ... ...slightly less distance. If you like to draw and fade the ball, it allows you to manipulate the flight with ease. This ball is perfect for the low handicapped player who places more emphasis on control than distance. The price is very similar to other premium brands such as the Pro V1 and HX tour, so I recommend you try these for a few rounds before committing yourself. The balls are highly available in any decent pro-shop and will be an asset to ...

Nike Mojo
Advantages: Good priced ball from Nike Disadvantages: nothing
...to improve my game. The Nike Mojo is a nice ball to look at and soft skinned, the name Mojo seems to be transferred to the ball like a kids fake tattoo. Off the tee i found it quite nice to hit, the ball has a good flight and soon lifts off if you hit it correctly, im not sure if there was much in length compared to my usual Titleist. i was on the 1st green in 2 and 2 putted the par 4, the ball seems soft to putt and i think you need to go to the ... ...money, but if you are doing well with your usual golf balls i wouldnt swap over. I'm not sure i would swap to Mojo, Nike do make nice balls there is no doubt about it, but I think i will stick to Titleist PTS.
overall 8 out of 10 ...

SOFT FEEL IS WHAT IT SAYS AND THEY ARE
Advantages: mid price range, last without scuffing Disadvantages: Frowned upon by golfers who think paying the most gets the best
...with a sleeve of these Srixon balls. Mine lasted all week and they performed well, i usually play with a more expensive ball but these done the job, great for feel around the greens and helped my slice from the tee due to there low spin rate. A number of my playing partners play with the more expensive balls and for a while refused to try them but evenually did so and where surprised at their findings. One of my good points in golf is my putting ...

Pro V1x : The better players ball....
Advantages: Best combination of spin, distance and feel. Disadvantages: Price, softer shell may may weather sooner than harder golf balls.
I personally would highly reccomend the ball to better standard of golfers who enjoy the playability arond the greens, yet still require extra distance off the the tee combined with the softer feel in comparison to other distance balls. The ball is also renowned for its 'drop and stop' controll. However, to any average to lower standard player, I would advise to play a cheaper, harder ball with more durability as shot making isn't to much of an issue ...
