Nike Golf 1 Black Balls
Review of Nike Golf One Black Golf Balls by alibatch111

Advantages: Solid with god feel
Disadvantages: No better than Pro V 1's

I used the balls for the first time several weeks ago and they were ok. They are no better than Pro V1s or Srixon ZURS however there is deffinatly no noticable difference that thay are clearly worse. The have generally good feel around the greens and are very nice to put with. They are solid golf ball with and of a nice weight, and when struck well they feellike they bomb off the tee. If they were about £5 a doz cheaper than ProV's then i owuld probably ... Read review

To hit or not to hit
Review of Wilson Staff TX4 Tour Golf Balls by davidmac123

Advantages: Easy to control, lots of distance and reliable
Disadvantages: if hit wrongly can be disasterous but only ever happens on a blue moon

...have only started playing with Wilson Staff golf balls recently after i found one when looking for one of my many lost in the trees. I used it once and fell in love. It was extremely effective. Before this i used bay hill golf balls which were effective but no way as near. Even though in shops, Wilson balls are approx. twenty pounds a dozen. Which isn't terribly expensive but if you are new to the game of golf it is a waste of money, as you can buy ... Read review

Callaway HX TOUR Black
Review of Callaway HX Tour Black Golf Balls by dirtycash_uk

Advantages: these babies fly!!!!!!!
Disadvantages: price!!

...won a dozen off these Callaway HX Tour black balls in a competition and am in love !! I have always played with Titleist Pro V1's in the past and didn't think anything would be able to beat them. These Callaways balls go an absolute mile when spanked off the tee with your driver. I would say slightly further than the pro v1. They also have excellent spin control when struck with your short irons into the greens. I have never had so much backspin ...
...putt with as well , a real soft feel coming off the putter face. The only real draw back with these is the price. I believe they are currently retailing for around £36 a dozen but i believe them to be worth it , especially in the summer. I have found them to have knocked around 2-3 shots off of my game per round , i play off a 12 handicap currenty. ... Read review

Bridgestone B330 surprisingly Good
Review of Bridgestone B330 Golf Balls by alibatch111

Advantages: Its basically a Pro V1 so performes like one
Disadvantages: Slight cheaper than a ProV1

...the greens whils going a long was. It is stated on the Bridgestone site that the ball performes at its best when being used at "Tour Speeds" which is 112mph+. But the ball will perform noticable better than your average TopFlite at any level. Good Cheaper ProV1 alternative. ... Read review

Pro V1x performance is second to none
Review of Titleist Pro V1x by alibatch111

Advantages: Great distance and feel
Disadvantages: Price

Everyone knows that this is the ball that is used by a majority of players on Tour both Europe and The US. Infact this is the ball used by most players accross the world. The ball is designed for players of all levels and all standard. The ball is covered in a soft Urethane Elastomers which gives greater feel for the player and has greater shock absorbing capacity. It is extreamly long off the tee which is fast becoming one of the most improtant ...
...by having a new 332 dimple design of differnt sizes to minimize drag through the air and create the optimon spin levels. With softer core materials used whilst still keeping its 'weight' it reduces the spin levels off the face of a driver. As for the Price it is one of the most expensive balls on the market retailing aroung £40 per coz, although you can find them for less. This is downfall of the Pro V1 but the performance levels are significanly ... Read review
