I've Got Soft Balls!
Review of Srixon Soft Feel Golf Balls by
the_mad_cabbie
Advantages: Extra distance with the driver. Excellent control and spin. Well priced high performance golf ball for the average golfer.
Disadvantages: Meaningless advertising.
~ ~ Srixon is probably not the first name that springs to a person's mind when they think of golf equipment manufacturers. Names like Slazenger, John Letters and Dunlop, and more recently Taylor Made, Callaway, and Nike are the manufacturers of clubs, balls and equipment that most modern-day golfers would readily associate with being market leaders in the golf world.
~ ~ So who are Srixon, and why are they now quickly establishing themselves as ... ...subject of this review; the Srixon Soft Feel.
Now I can guess what you're asking yourself. If I'm a serious golfer (which I am) and the Titleist Pro V is the best ball currently available, then why change?
Well, the Pro V suits a lot of golfer's games like a proverbial glove. The only problem with it is that like all golf balls used by professional golfers, it's designed to perform best when it's being used by a golfer with a very fast swing speed. ...

Review of Srixon Distance Golf Balls by
rboyle1
Advantages: distance
Disadvantages: feel accuracy spin
in my experience useing this srixon distance golf ball is that it is very long and gives distance like it states but i feel that the ball only offers this quality as it has no feel durability and accuracy i also feel that the ball does not feel good when putting as it gives off a bad roll ,also when useing this golf ball my spin really decreased when useing other balls such as the pro v titliest ,but the golf ball does go a long way when you hit ...

Review of Bridgestone B330 Golf Balls by
alibatch111
Advantages: Its basically a Pro V1 so performes like one
Disadvantages: Slight cheaper than a ProV1
...the greens whils going a long was.
It is stated on the Bridgestone site that the ball performes at its best when being used at "Tour Speeds" which is 112mph+. But the ball will perform noticable better than your average TopFlite at any level.

Pro V1x performance is second to none
Review of Titleist Pro V1x by
alibatch111
Advantages: Great distance and feel
Disadvantages: Price
Everyone knows that this is the ball that is used by a majority of players on Tour both Europe and The US. Infact this is the ball used by most players accross the world. The ball is designed for players of all levels and all standard. The ball is covered in a soft Urethane Elastomers which gives greater feel for the player and has greater shock absorbing capacity. It is extreamly long off the tee which is fast becoming one of the most improtant ... ...by having a new 332 dimple design of differnt sizes to minimize drag through the air and create the optimon spin levels. With softer core materials used whilst still keeping its 'weight' it reduces the spin levels off the face of a driver.
As for the Price it is one of the most expensive balls on the market retailing aroung £40 per coz, although you can find them for less. This is downfall of the Pro V1 but the performance levels are significanly ...

Nike Golf 1 Black Balls
Review of Nike Golf One Black Golf Balls by
alibatch111
Advantages: Solid with god feel
Disadvantages: No better than Pro V 1's
I used the balls for the first time several weeks ago and they were ok. They are no better than Pro V1s or Srixon ZURS however there is deffinatly no noticable difference that thay are clearly worse. The have generally good feel around the greens and are very nice to put with. They are solid golf ball with and of a nice weight, and when struck well they feellike they bomb off the tee. If they were about £5 a doz cheaper than ProV's then i owuld probably ...
