Bridgestone B330 surprisingly Good
Review of Bridgestone B330 Golf Balls by alibatch111

Advantages: Its basically a Pro V1 so performes like one
Disadvantages: Slight cheaper than a ProV1

...the greens whils going a long was. It is stated on the Bridgestone site that the ball performes at its best when being used at "Tour Speeds" which is 112mph+. But the ball will perform noticable better than your average TopFlite at any level. Good Cheaper ProV1 alternative. ... Read review

Pro V1x performance is second to none
Review of Titleist Pro V1x by alibatch111

Advantages: Great distance and feel
Disadvantages: Price

Everyone knows that this is the ball that is used by a majority of players on Tour both Europe and The US. Infact this is the ball used by most players accross the world. The ball is designed for players of all levels and all standard. The ball is covered in a soft Urethane Elastomers which gives greater feel for the player and has greater shock absorbing capacity. It is extreamly long off the tee which is fast becoming one of the most improtant ...
...by having a new 332 dimple design of differnt sizes to minimize drag through the air and create the optimon spin levels. With softer core materials used whilst still keeping its 'weight' it reduces the spin levels off the face of a driver. As for the Price it is one of the most expensive balls on the market retailing aroung £40 per coz, although you can find them for less. This is downfall of the Pro V1 but the performance levels are significanly ... Read review

Nike Golf 1 Black Balls
Review of Nike Golf One Black Golf Balls by alibatch111

Advantages: Solid with god feel
Disadvantages: No better than Pro V 1's

I used the balls for the first time several weeks ago and they were ok. They are no better than Pro V1s or Srixon ZURS however there is deffinatly no noticable difference that thay are clearly worse. The have generally good feel around the greens and are very nice to put with. They are solid golf ball with and of a nice weight, and when struck well they feellike they bomb off the tee. If they were about £5 a doz cheaper than ProV's then i owuld probably ... Read review

The longest ball on the market
Review of Titleist Pro V1x by jezzard1

Advantages: Distance
Disadvantages: They can be expensive, and wear out when using deep grooved wedges

The best golf ball on the market. I used to use the Pro V1 because thats what everyone used, but i wasn't completely happy when hitting into the wind, becasue i hit the ball with a high swing speed it just went up in the air instead of forward. Once changin to the Pro V1x I hit it further and straighter, without losing any control around the greens. The ball putts extremely well too, it makes a nice solid sound of the putter face, helping with distance ...
...for golfers who swing the club faster than 85mph. If you don't know your swing speed, visit you local golf professional and he/she can tell you this using a launch monitor. Normall RRP is £11 a sleeve, most shops will sell around the £10 mark per sleeve or about £36 a dozen. The lowest I have seen is £30 a dozen, but can be found cheaper on ebay. ... Read review

A cheap way to improve you're golf swing
Review of Airflow Golf Practice Balls by beanie8844

Advantages: very cheap, they work, you can practice in the garden
Disadvantages: you may prefer real golf balls

...on offer. I noticed these airflow practice balls and they seemed like a fab training aid and something which should really help my swing. They are exactly the same size and dimension as a normal golf ball, but are of plastic construction and have airholes all over them, producing maximum drag from the moment they are struck. This therefore minimzes their flight, reduces the speed of the ball and the distance it travels. Effectively, this means you ...
...I think these airflow practice balls are great and every golfer should have a set in their bag. They allow you to practice you're full swing in places where space is limited, knowing that you aren't going to cause any damage. It is also easy to tell if you have made a good connection because the flight of the ball tells you. A good shot tends to rise before gradually falling to the floor, whereas a poor shot has more speed and comes down immediately, ... Read review
