FULL FAT please Advantages: feel, accuracy, distance Disadvantages: none yet ...several years ago now that Wilson developed the new Fat Shaft technology. I thought at first that it made so much sense that the other manufacturers would follow suit but that was not the case, however, I still like the idea and it has helped my game (I keep thinking about that old saying - a bad workman always blames his tools?!) I have been playing golf for 6 years and recently swapped my first set, bought for my by my hubby for a new set of Wilson ... ...I believe that the Wilson Fat Shaft technology has the right idea for these clubs. With club head sizes increasing over the years, it makes sense to increase the shaft diameter producing less torque which means less twisting which means greater accuracy. A fatter shaft results in significanlty larger tip diameter, depending on the type of clubs. The North-Western Pro "Plus 10" 460cc Driver Advantages: Great Sound, performance and price. Disadvantages: Not a well known brand I purchased the Plus 10 driver quite a while back when it was being advertised on the golf channel as the longest, largest legal driver in golf. The 460cc driver has been a great addition to my golf bag. Its forgiveness is great but it isn't everything that the adverts claim. You do need to have a very consistent drive for this product to have the great effect that it is supposed to have, none the less it is one of the best drivers I have ever used. ... ...as good as the Plus 10 in my opinion. One of my favourite things about the club is its great sound when you use it off the tee! It really does attract the attention of the other golfers on the course and I have had many people walk up to ask what I am using. Great golf clubs at good price but dangerous ... Advantages: Real good price Disadvantages: Dangerous defect with head detaching from shaft Hi all, My comment would have been exactly the same as the one by 'beanie8844' till several days ago. But today I've to come up with one important negative point which is I have one of my clubs (P-wedge) turned into 2 pieces after about one month of use on pratice only. More precisely, the club 's head is detached from its shaft & luckily not during a strike. I must also say I've never hit whatsoever 'floor' w/ this club.
