Beautiful Cleveland Blades
Review of Cleveland CG1 Irons by comedybegs

Advantages: great feel and control over well struck shots
Disadvantages: head size

These clubs are stunning and suprisingly easy to use for blades. Their looks are second to none which always adds confidence when your standing over your ball! The best aspects of these clubs are the feel and feedback received. If the ball is struck from the centre of the club it flies arrow straight to the target on a slightly lower than normal trajectory. Off centre hits are felt making it easier to know where you are going wrong so that you can ...
...of these irons for me is that the size of the clubhead is smaller than the average blade meaning that they are ideally suited to better golfers although I started playing with these when I had a handicap of 12 and found they were relatively forgiving but not as much as cavity back or forged irons. These irons are very much evenly matched on price with their competitors of which I must say that the Mizuno MP32's are equally as beautiful in design ... Read review

The CG11 Series - Stunning!!
Review of Cleveland CG11 Wedges by roberto900

Advantages: Supurb looks and great feel too. Fantastic prices available.
Disadvantages: Wear easily.

...degree (gap wedge) in the Cleveland CG11 series (satin finish) for approximately 8 months now and have being impressed with the difference they have made to my short game, not just as good clubs but also in the sense of making me a more versatile player around the greens (i.e. giving me more options than just a SW and a PW). First and foremost has to be the stunning design and appearance of the clubs. They are beautiful to the point of making it ...
...big name supplier such as Cleveland who, in particular are renowned for their wedges, these clubs do not disappoint here either. As standard the clubs come fitted with a supurb True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shaft and the usual Cleveland grip, neither of which I can pick a fault with. The head is made out of CMM (Carbon Metal Matrix, created especially by Cleveland) which is slightly softer than usual steel to give extra feel. Finally, the face and ... Read review

Great wedge for inconsistent players!
Review of Cleveland CG11 Black Pearl Wedges by comedybegs

Advantages: easy to hit from any distance and looks stunning
Disadvantages: amount of bounce on some options makes the club less versataile

...you would expect from a Cleveland wedge and match the well designed clubhead that sits very well behind the ball. A problem i did have with my version of this wedge is that although a lot of bounce made it easier to get out of bunkers and long grass, it also made it harder to play the high floating shot from tight lies. ... Vokey design wedges!
Review of Titleist Vokey 258.08 by alexhoward89

Advantages: great feel, control and durability
Disadvantages: none!

I own two of the Vokey design wedges; 52 and 58 degrees. I have had them for a couple of years now, which on its own shows the good durability of the club as i play a lot of golf and the grooves are still generating good spin. the main advantages of them are that they have quite a lot of weight, which is concentrated into the head of the club, which increases the feel of the club, and also allows for far greater control as you really can let the ...
...design of the wedge, and the colour of the metal, but through time this changes, especially with the sand wedge, into a more worn look, which i actually find quite a good look! overall i would definitely reccomend these wedges over any other, and are suitable for all abilities. ... Read review

Nike forged blades - The best blades about!!
Review of Nike Forged Blades by alexhoward89

Advantages: Great feel and very impressive design
Disadvantages: Havent found any yet! but might not suit the higher handicap players

I bought the nike forged blades in 2006 and am still very impressed with every aspect of them! In terms of performance, they are a relatively small blade but all this does is focus more power into the sweetspot in the centre of the clubface and when struck cleanly gives a soft, powerful feeling and a great result! In terms of asthetics, they are a very sleek yet simple design and are finished off with a very stylish nike tick on the back of each ...
...player, i would reccommend this blade to lower handicap players as higher handicap players may struggle to strike the ball consistently enough to get the best out of them. If however you are a confident low handicap golfer then you will be thrilled with the performance of these irons and the feel of the ball off the club! I have had them for over 2 years now and do not intend to change irons for a very long time! ... Read review
