Vokey design wedges!
Review of Titleist Vokey 258.08 by
alexhoward89
Advantages: great feel, control and durability
Disadvantages: none!
I own two of the Vokey design wedges; 52 and 58 degrees. I have had them for a couple of years now, which on its own shows the good durability of the club as i play a lot of golf and the grooves are still generating good spin.
the main advantages of them are that they have quite a lot of weight, which is concentrated into the head of the club, which increases the feel of the club, and also allows for far greater control as you really can let the ... ...design of the wedge, and the colour of the metal, but through time this changes, especially with the sand wedge, into a more worn look, which i actually find quite a good look!
overall i would definitely reccomend these wedges over any other, and are suitable for all abilities. ...

Nike forged blades - The best blades about!!
Review of Nike Forged Blades by
alexhoward89
Advantages: Great feel and very impressive design
Disadvantages: Havent found any yet! but might not suit the higher handicap players
I bought the nike forged blades in 2006 and am still very impressed with every aspect of them! In terms of performance, they are a relatively small blade but all this does is focus more power into the sweetspot in the centre of the clubface and when struck cleanly gives a soft, powerful feeling and a great result!
In terms of asthetics, they are a very sleek yet simple design and are finished off with a very stylish nike tick on the back of each ... ...player, i would reccommend this blade to lower handicap players as higher handicap players may struggle to strike the ball consistently enough to get the best out of them. If however you are a confident low handicap golfer then you will be thrilled with the performance of these irons and the feel of the ball off the club!
I have had them for over 2 years now and do not intend to change irons for a very long time! ...

Be a real man!!!
Review of Cobra SZ 355 Womens Offset Driver by
tiger4theopen
Advantages: Distance and accuracy!
Disadvantages: Nothing!
...was one of the old Cobra drivers from 2005 but the technology in it was more like 2008. A great driver for all. This driver usually has a offset face (to counter act the slice) and about 12 degrees loft. That may seem alot but according to a golf magazine men should be using at least 11.5! This proves that just because you have a low loft doesnt mean you hit it further. Also the offset promets a slight draw which also adds yards to drives. But this ...

Love At First Sight (Or Even Feel!)
Review of Cleveland Hibore XLS Driver by
the_mad_cabbie
Advantages: Brilliant, technologically advanced golf club. Simply the best driver I have *EVER* used!
Disadvantages: Costs an arm and a leg
The Cleveland Hibore XLS driver is so new to the market that at present Cleveland are only just releasing it to golf professional shops throughout the UK and Ireland.
Cleveland's marketing strategy is simply superb. Instead of spending an absolute fortune on *VERY* expensive TV and glossy magazine advertising, they have instead sent a selection of demonstration drivers to club professionals to be loaned out to golfers to play a round or two with ... ...And believe me, this new Cleveland driver is indeed an investment, as it is to retail here in Ireland at a whopping 376 Euros! (That's about four times the price I paid for my first full set of 14 matched golf clubs!) I'll return later to why I think Spalding's marketing strategy is so effective, but for the moment let's look at the club itself.
A few weeks back I turned up at my home golf club for my regular Tuesday morning fourball, and as usual ...
