Taylormade R7 Superquad Advantages: Weight movable technology Disadvantages: Not for the beginner ...finally I made my choice. Taylormade Golf equipment was going to be the clubs for me. The R7 Super quad was just the weapon. I picked up the 10.5° degrees of loft with a regular shaft and I must as it was light after the old driver. But boy did it go I have been about thirty yards longer every time. However have not always been straight but that would be me and not the club. This club has weight movement technology which is all good fun and ... ...that exceeds 5800. A TaylorMade RE*AX 65 graphite shaft which reduces ovaling in the mid-section and promotes stability, consistency and increased club head speed Very impressive but what does it mean to the average guy? Not a lot but boy it goes along way off the tee. Conclusion Would I recommend this club? Yes but not to the beginner. Taylormade V-Steel Advantages: Everything Disadvantages: Paintwork ...shop i came across the Taylormade V-steel priced and £69.99 reduced from £149.99. As a good deal goes i felt drawn in by nearly £100 being reduced fromt he club and decieded to give it ago which wa probably the best decision of the night. The V-steel is one of the older models from Taylormades collection but still delivers the results you would exspect from a brand new wood. The distance achiveable is far outstretched what i was exspecting, able ... ...The shaft is made by Taylormade themsleves and weighs 65g which is lighter than many modern shafts avalible and is avalible in a number of flex's, and kick points. I myself own the stiff flex which allows swing speeds of 90-125mph meaning i can swing slower but still again achive distance. (Shaft flex will vary wiht swin speed so if purchasing a new club, speak to a professional). The club itself looks great and strikes the ball even better. I keep on finding the short stuff!! Advantages: Accurate, even on off centre hits. Disadvantages: Maybe a small decrease in length. The most forgiving driver I have ever had. I previously stuck, steadfastly to my old driver, because I used to find the fairway more often with it than any other, but was persuaded to give the R5 a trial. Wow, was I amazed. I find the fairway more now than ever, even when I don't "get it out the middle" The club is so easy to hit, it sits behind the ball just perfectly, giving you all the confidence you need to "rip" one down the middle. I have probably ... ...I am on the fairway more often, I'll take it!!! I won't tell porkies, I'm not going to tell you it gets me on all the Par 5's in two, because it doesn't....always! What it does, is keep me in play more often, and if I can play three woods and three irons off the fairway rather than hacking out the rough sideways, then that will knock shots off my handicap. Great golf clubs at good price but dangerous ... Advantages: Real good price Disadvantages: Dangerous defect with head detaching from shaft Hi all, My comment would have been exactly the same as the one by 'beanie8844' till several days ago. But today I've to come up with one important negative point which is I have one of my clubs (P-wedge) turned into 2 pieces after about one month of use on pratice only. More precisely, the club 's head is detached from its shaft & luckily not during a strike. I must also say I've never hit whatsoever 'floor' w/ this club.
