Ping I15 3 wood - beautifully engineered

Advantages: Great design and feel, great looks, great for working the ball
Disadvantages: the head cover comes loose very easily, you could lose it if it falls off

I bought my Ping I15 3 wood last summer and fell in love with it immediately. It looks fantastic and the feel you get with this club is outstanding. The head is a little smaller than its counterpart the G15 as it is aimed more for feel and working the ball than for forgiveness, so it is better for the mid to low handicap golfer. When you hit a sweet shot you can really feel the difference from the G15 (which I also tried out before buying the I15) ...
...then this is the club for you. I paid £145 from my club professional for this club and I think that was good value for a brand new 3 wood. You can probably pick one up for less than this with some shopping around but most internet sites are around this price for a brand new one. If you're looking for a new 3 wood and you take your golf seriously then you should seriously consider this club as an option. ...

Ping S57 irons - fantastic feel and quality

Advantages: Great looks, great feel and performance
Disadvantages: considerably more money than other Ping models

I bought my S57 irons in late summer 2009 and have found they really have improved my game. I feel more confident with them and even though they were expensive I am a very happy customer. The S57 irons are aimed at lower handicap golfers, offering more feel and performance at the expense of some forgiveness. I am a 15 handicap golfer moving steadily downwards, my aim is to be in single figures this time next year and I think these clubs are definitely ...
...is unbelievably good, like a bladed club but more forgiving than a traditional blade. They are so stylish they really inspire confidence when you line up to the ball. They have a thinner profile than the most recent G15 and I15 irons, which will not be for every golfer, but I feel more confident and able to clip the ball off the grass more easily with what feels like a 'sharper' club. If you take your golf seriously and play regularly then these ...

Fantastic controllable Driver

Advantages: Good length, but great control
Disadvantages: none

I have had this driver for 18 months now and can honestly say this is the best driver I have every used. The control is great, while the distance is also very good. Its not the longest of drivers, Callaway and Nike have clubs for that, but if you want to be able to control your drivers and actually hit the fairway then this is the club for you. Before you purchase any driver, do make sure that you get the correct shaft fitted. This will completely ...
...club feels like a proper driver, unlike "tinny" sound you get from other brands that claim massive distance. I play off a 5 handicap and have used Nike and Callaway drivers before. This is by far the best. Just to prove a point, enquired in a pro shop about the newer 909 model. The pro in the store advised me to sit ...

Fantastic feel and a quite forgiving muscle blade

Advantages: Feel and look. they just give you confidence to go for your shots.
Disadvantages: A little soft, and will dent if you play on a stony course.

...now. The newer range of Mizuno are merely updates of these clubs. Very little has changed. I would imagine if you check ebay you could pick up a set for a very good price. Basically, these clubs are great. Length is good, due to the fact that they have a slightly stronger angle for each club than your normal standard cavity clubs. Yet they are soft enough to create fantastic control when hitting the greens. ...

Did my getting off the tee improve with the Callaway FT-IQ

Advantages: gain extra yardage from tee, easy to hit off the deck, looks good
Disadvantages: pricey and sound puts people off

Yes it did , i was in the pro shop about six months ago and the pro was telling me about one of the square drivers that i had been wanting to try, god is that the price of it i said, but he talked me into taking it out for a trial, it took me a few holes to get used to the address of the club head but when i started outdriving my playing partners i was hooked, But the price was the main thing putting me off, so i tryed out a number of similar clubs ...
