Taylormade R7 Superquad
Review of TaylorMade R7 Quad Driver by
blueblobby
Advantages: Weight movable technology
Disadvantages: Not for the beginner
...finally I made my choice.
Taylormade Golf equipment was going to be the clubs for me.
The R7 Super quad was just the weapon.
I picked up the 10.5° degrees of loft with a regular shaft and I must as it was light after the old driver. But boy did it go I have been about thirty yards longer every time.
However have not always been straight but that would be me and not the club.
This club has weight movement technology which is all good fun and ... ...that exceeds 5800. A TaylorMade RE*AX 65 graphite shaft which reduces ovaling in the mid-section and promotes stability, consistency and increased club head speed
Very impressive but what does it mean to the average guy? Not a lot but boy it goes along way off the tee.
Conclusion
Would I recommend this club? Yes but not to the beginner. This is a club for the good to very good golfer and at about £230 pounds this is a good buy. ...

Great golf clubs at a great price!
Review of Chicago SGS Mens Golf Complete Set by
beanie8844
Advantages: decent clubs, very cheap
Disadvantages: the lowest iron is a 5 iron
...I finally decided on the Chicago SGS golf clubs which cost me £57.99 from www.thesportshq.com. At this price I didn't expect too much, but was thoroughly impressed when they arrived within three working days of purchase. Upon arrival I inspected the clubs and was very happy and couldn't quite believe that they cost just £57.99 and this included the bag too! I went straight to the local driving range and hit about 100 balls using most of the clubs ... ...eight rounds of golf with the clubs and they feel great.
The set is designed for novice / intermediate players and the clubs have enlarged heads to guarantee that you should hit the ball with more accuracy, which helps when you are just starting out. The set comprises of a 3 wood driver, a hybrid club which is the equivalent of a 2 or 3 iron, a 5 iron, 6 iron, 7 iron, 8 iron, 9 iron, pitching wedge and sand wedge. Of all the clubs I find the 9 iron ...

Vokey design wedges!
Review of Titleist Vokey 258.08 by
alexhoward89
Advantages: great feel, control and durability
Disadvantages: none!
I own two of the Vokey design wedges; 52 and 58 degrees. I have had them for a couple of years now, which on its own shows the good durability of the club as i play a lot of golf and the grooves are still generating good spin.
the main advantages of them are that they have quite a lot of weight, which is concentrated into the head of the club, which increases the feel of the club, and also allows for far greater control as you really can let the ... ...design of the wedge, and the colour of the metal, but through time this changes, especially with the sand wedge, into a more worn look, which i actually find quite a good look!
overall i would definitely reccomend these wedges over any other, and are suitable for all abilities. ...

Nike forged blades - The best blades about!!
Review of Nike Forged Blades by
alexhoward89
Advantages: Great feel and very impressive design
Disadvantages: Havent found any yet! but might not suit the higher handicap players
I bought the nike forged blades in 2006 and am still very impressed with every aspect of them! In terms of performance, they are a relatively small blade but all this does is focus more power into the sweetspot in the centre of the clubface and when struck cleanly gives a soft, powerful feeling and a great result!
In terms of asthetics, they are a very sleek yet simple design and are finished off with a very stylish nike tick on the back of each ... ...player, i would reccommend this blade to lower handicap players as higher handicap players may struggle to strike the ball consistently enough to get the best out of them. If however you are a confident low handicap golfer then you will be thrilled with the performance of these irons and the feel of the ball off the club!
I have had them for over 2 years now and do not intend to change irons for a very long time! ...
