Advantages: Great for getting kids into golf Disadvantages: Not of a high standard
...orientated as full sized clubs or competition brand clubs, as it is aimed at children getting into the game. But I don't think this is a problem, obviously if a child gets to a very high standard the young gun putter wouldn't be the putter of choice, but for most people it is an ideal cheap club.
I would recommend this club to anyone thinking of getting their chidlren into golf. It is a great value club and does a job, although it isn't of a great standard I think that this doesn't matter, because at that standard of golf, equiptment doesn't matter as much, but rather technique and for value for money I think this is the best buy around for childrens golf clubs.
www.clickgolf.co.uk is a website I have found that sells the young gun putter and all of the series....

Advantages: Good in all weathers Disadvantages: None of such
...Many players overlook the importance of grips on their golf clubs. Although the thickness of the grip can be tailored from any brand, the quality of the grip varies imensely. The Softie Cord has all the advantages of a cord grip, such as long being lasting yet with a 'soft' feel. Always try before buying, but regripping my entire golf clubs with these grips (I play off 7) has made me feel more confident and improved my scores. The grip is relatively expensive compared to competitiors...

Advantages: Fantastic feel and a great roll Disadvantages: None
...What makes any putter different from another? They are all used on the green to roll the ball into the hole aren't they? Well this range is a little different...
The Taylor Made Nubbins range of putters is very distinctive in looks. They have an orange rubber insert covering the clubface (where you hit the ball) that has little 'nubs' protruding from it (a bit like lego!!). The idea behind this is that when the putter strikes the golf ball, the ball is gripped by the nubs which are incredibly soft, stays on the putter face for longer than a normal putter and then makes the ball roll much quicker after impact. This action reduces any skidding that may normally occur and promotes a great feel and roll on the green thus producing a good putt.
Surprisingly the technology actually works!! These putters feel very soft and the roll of the ball...
