Adidas make Great shoe Advantages: Comfort Disadvantages: Squeek ...a bit individual with the adidas striped going all round the shoe and under the sole. They breath well and are so far, waterproof. the only small problem that when your feeet get slighly damp coz of sweating they start to squeek slightly and can be very annoying. But that is just a small thing and is proably my wonky feet. They are light on foot and are easy walking. Get A Grip! Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip. Disadvantages: Make sure you break them in properly before you hit the golf course! ...but a pair of white Adidas shoes with black stripes which for all the world looked like a pair of my teenage daughter's trainers. I was even less enamoured when I discovered that they hadn't been purchased in the club professional's shop, which meant I couldn't exchange them for something else. Not that they were a bad looking pair of shoes mind you. Called the "Adidas Tour Traxion" they are a slightly less expensive version of Adidas's best selling ... ...(Great golf shoes) The Adidas shoes were then relegated to my golfing gear graveyard (the hall cupboard) and gathered dust until about two weeks ago, when I came across them again in a periodic (and rare!) clear out. Footjoy Dryjoy Golf Shoes Advantages: Very comfortable and totally waterproof Disadvantages: Cost around £100 ...waterproof and are very durable. Footjoy can also customise them for you with a variety of colours and personalised messages that is not offered by many. At around £100 they seem quite expensive, but the quality is supreme and I can fully justify my expenditure since using these for over a year. They are widely available in all decent pro-shops and are available in various classic styles and colours (including all-white.)
