I have been using 'Palmers Cocoa Butter' on and off for many years. Palmers Cocoa Butter retails for about £4 - £4.99 for the 270g pack. I buy mine at the local beauty shop and have also bought it in Superdrug previously..
It comes in a large white opaque round jar with a white screw top cover with the words 'Palmer's' in an orange caption and the 'Cocoa Butter Formula' in white letters with a brown caption box..
The rest of the jar has words 'with Vitamin E' and 'Heals & Softens rough, Dry skin' and 'Smoothes Marks & Scars' on the front.
The product itself is a dark cream (almost yellow) body butter with a smooth feel. Palmers Cocoa Butter has a sweet noticeable coconut scent on opening the jar and this scent remains long after application to the skin.
It contains Cocoa extract, Mineral Oil, Cocoa Seed Butter, Fragrance ...
Advantages: Great creamy,thick texture. Good purchase price. Last along time, the smell of the product! Disadvantages: As the bottle gets towards empty it is difficult to get the last bits of cream out
It was when I returned from a holiday and went to see a friend that I first discovered the wonderful world of Palmers Cocoa Butter. At the time I was experiencing horrible peeling skin and had a rapidly disappearing sun tan when my friend advised me that I needed to slap some moisturiser on and quick! I informed I had but she went and got me her regular moisturiser from her bathroom cupboard, this was the Palmers Cocoa Butter, since that day and I am talking way over 7 years I have been using the Cocoa Butter.
The Palmers brand was formed over 160 years ago in America and was one of the first skin care companies. The brand has gone from strength to strength and now has many products available on the market. Not only do Palmers offer the Cocoa Butter formula there is an extensive list of other items available such as;
~ Butter ...
Advantages: available without prescription over the counter, high quality Disadvantages: none
My sons are lactose intolerant. They can have a small quantity of lactose but a bottle of formula milk contains too much lactose for them to digest. In case of the elder one I don?t have problem already with the formula milk as he is almost 3 years old. My younger one doesn?t eat very well so I have to give him 2-3 bottles of formula milk every day. I consulted loads of doctors and nurses about it and all of them agreed to give him formula milk as he is teething.
When I asked lactose free formula milk over the counter in November 2009 I was told that without prescription it would cost about 30 pounds a tub. Well I ran to the GP for the prescription as we cannot afford 6 tubs per month. We had a prescription and we received the formula milk for free. I wrote a review already on that formula milk. I received a not too kind comment that I ...
