But don?t despair ripping out all of your hair, Hays will send out letters to home addresses from time to time offering you only a contract for a certain job. If you take this job they then send out another letter containing information such as where to go, who to contact, head office contact and salary/hourly pay. They don?t always phone as their time on the phones are taken up mainly with providing clients and employers with information along with actually providing them with the workers. Review of Hays

At last a V-brake pad for mudlovers

Advantages: Excellent performance in wet/muddy conditions, rim friendly, good wear rates
Disadvantages: Pricier than the competition

the wet, and while there is a drop off in performance, it is nowhere near as much as with other brands that I have tried. In mud these pads really do come into their own. They are the only v-brake pad that I have tried that provide any braking at all when covered in mud. Mud is extremely abrasive, and every time you apply the brakes you are applying a grinding paste to your delicate aluminium rims. Before I changed over to the Kool Stops, my Avid Rim Wranglers lasted as little as 2 months, and also managed to wear my rear rim past the wear markers in under 9 months. With the Kool Stops, not only is the braking vastly improved, but my rims show significantly less wear. The other small advantage you get is the cartridge pads are a bit easier than the blocks to replace - pull out circlip, press out old pad, push in new pad, replace circlip ...

Review of Kool Stop Pads - All Cartridge V Brakes

Raking in the hay.

Advantages: A good hay rake strong
Disadvantages: none

I have used these wooden hay rakes on conservation work parties. These care really good substantial rakes. Unless you have a huge garden I doubt you wopuld need one these are more suitable for fields and paddocks. We use these on conservation clearance tasks to rake up grass after it has been cut in the autumn. These wooden hay rakes are in fact quite beautiful in a way. They are a traditional style. Looks like a rake my great grandfathers would have used gathering the hay. . This rake has a very wide head and a long reach. This Faithful rake has a 6 foot shaft. The width of the head of the rake is 29 in it has 16 dowel teeth There are 2 iron stays which help give the rake stability and strength. I have been able to use this rake both on flat meadow and under trees. This hay rake should last a long time it is well made ...
