Grays O Tech - THE best stick i ever played with!!!

Advantages: Great for hitting, close control and lifting
Disadvantages: Price is quite high

I have been playing hockey for a considerable number of years now and i gaced a tough decision when I decided i needed a new stick this season. The last stick i bought was a very good stick and was very expensive as it cost me over £200, however its durability was very poor. After doing some research on the internet i found the Grays O tech stick, with new technology that channeled the energy of the hit down to the ball because of the holes in the isde of the stick. They also decrease air resistance so that the swing can increase its speed. In my opinion you cannot argue with the technology behind this stick and i was thoroughly convinced. My local sports shop had one of these sticks in stock and i got to have a feel of the stick with a ball. I found the stick to have a great feel to it and it is very responsive. The only problem was ...

Its on the ball

Advantages: efective little cleaner
Disadvantages: Noisy

I have a small home so when I needed a new vacuum cleaner I chose the Dyson DC24 which is a smaller version of the standard model. It cost £189.99. I was expecting almost a child sized vacuum cleaner but there is not really much difference at all. It was so simple to put together, there are peel off stickers on the unit to explain things as you go. It only took me 5 minutes to have it assembled. The ball makes vacuuming effortless, and the head of the vacuum is narrow so its easy to get under the sofa, low tables, etc. It has strong suction as you would expect from a Dyson but it is surprising how full the cylinder is when you have finished. It really gets everything up. This does mean however that you need to empty the dust cylinder quite frequently. The power cable is short and not retractable which can look a bit untidy if it is ...

Hockey in general

Advantages: Great fun to play. Easy to pick up.
Disadvantages: Kit is expensive.

you join a club they can provide kit for you. Hockey can be played indoors and outdoors. The indoor game is very exciting, with quick end to end matches. There are five players to a team, and any one can get in the action. If you watch an indoor game, it is almost guaranteed to be high scoring. The more well known version, is the outdoor game. This usually consist of eleven players, unless you are playing the mini version. The mini version is seven a side and is played on only half the normal pitch. The eleven a side game is hard work, but very rewarding to play. The aim of the game in both indoor and outdoor game is very simple. To score more goals than the other team. The rules are simple too. I will not go in to detail, but I shall explain some of the basic rules. You can only move the ball with your stick (unless ...
