Gregory's best-selling pack for women has been redesigned with a new suspension, loads of organization and increased capacity.
* New Responsetm Suspension System pivots to self-adjust its waistbelt to your hip angle; system also pivots to mirror your body as it moves
* Natural pivot control lets you automatically adjust the amount of movement
* Cross-over compression straps and side stiffening panels distribute compression over a wide surface to stabilize partially full pack
* Design offers three ways to get at your gear with both top-loading, front panel access and bottom access to the main compartment
* Hydration-compatible design features a removable reservoir sleeve and drink-tube exit port for on-the-go hydration (reservoir sold separately)
* Contoured 3D waistbelt and harness use dual-density foams laminated to the surface fabric, resulting in cushioning without pinching or binding
* Specifically engineered to fit a women's shape, the narrow ventilated back panel helps move moisture away
* A single aluminum stay helps support heavy loads
* Features low-profile pockets on front and sides, twin gear/ice axe loops, quick-release sleeping pad straps and an angled side water-bottle holster
* Removable top lid pocket converts to a lumbar pack and lets you keep compass, maps, small essentials or raingear close at hand
* Waterproof tarpaulin material covers the bottom of the pack to provide long-lasting wear and protection from the elements
* Made of lightweight 630-denier and 210-denier high-tenacity nylon body fabric for strength and durability
* Designed for multi-day trips and hauling loads up to 45 lbs.
* Specification for torso/ waist and hips/ base volume and weight are as follows: XS - 14-15.5 in. / 22-28 in. / 3,500 cu. in. / 57 liters / 5 lbs. 0 oz.

Advantages: good facilities Disadvantages: expensive and far too busy, when I went at least
...complimentary towels, I decided to make the most of my guest pass (it’s worth £10) so headed to the café (known as the club room) first. This is a facility my own club doesn’t offer and it was very nice. It was a bit of a mess, crumpled newspaper supplements scattered over plush white sofas, a few dirty glasses and plates left neglected on smudged glass tables. Other than that though it was a surprisingly good facility for a pack ‘em in type gym, which I know I’d appreciate if I was a full member. Situated as it is in the middle of Ealing Broadway centre it’d be a nice place to relax for a bit while out shopping, or wait for a friend to finish their browsing if you’re an impatient shopper like me and just while away some time, reading all the weekend newspapers and other magazines for free.
The menu selection for snacks, light meals and drinks...

The aerobak brief description -
Its like those little havasacks women wear, about that size - its still a bladder based drinking device (i.e. its got a plastic bag that you can fill with water to drink whenever) cyclists use it to drink without the need for bottles these often get covered in muck from the road but I've seen walkers and climbers using them anyone basically anyone who needs to drink hands free can use one.
This version of the typical bladder is more for road cyclists, "aero"dynamic smallish nice contrasting colours and good road visibility stripes.
The other names , mule, rogue etc etc are just...

Advantages: My feet are in love with these boots Disadvantages: They're not cheap
...One year without realising what I was letting myself into, I promised my husband a new pair of walking boots for his birthday. I was expecting to pay £60-£70 but bless him, he fell in love with a pair of Brasher Supalites and I didn't have the heart to say no. With a 10% discount they cost me £108 and he assured me they were worth every penny.
Bad Boot History
****************
At this stage I'd been fighting the need to buy proper boots. As a student I studied geology and spent a lot of wet miserable weeks plodding over mountains with wet feet. In my book, proper boots weighed a tonne and took a lot of looking after. We used to do the most bizarre things to make them fit and to soften the leather - sitting with your boots on in bowls of hot water, putting lots of Nikwax onto the wet boots so the nasty stuff got sucked into the pores...

I thought for a change I would try my hand at reviewing a book, so here goes.
Ever since I started researching my family tree I have become interested in reading books set in the past, just so I can get a bit of an insight into how my ancestors may... more
Historical fiction is a favourite guilty pleasure of mine, and I came to this book with no pre-conceptions; in fact, I actually expected, and wanted, to like it. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed.
I get that this is historical _fiction_, and... more
