The pickup is a bridge mounted open faced humbucker which delivers a powerful tone that totally belies the diminutive body mass. For such a small body the resonance and sustain is remarkable and the volume and tone controls are totally noise free.
Hofner have been making instruments since the 1880s and appear to have got the hang of it.
The shorty comes in a choice of three colours, red, black and blue. Mine is a turquoisey sort of blue which is very easy on the eye.
Playability is not at all compromised by the size, although I do recommend the use of a strap to aid support, even when playing seated.
For the price you can't fault this guitar. I would strongly recommend considering one of these if buying for a child ...

Over all I was pleased with this wetsuit, its does the job and was redeemably priced.
COMFORT AND PARCTICALITY
A wetsuits comfort, whatever make it is will depend on wither it is a short summer suit or a long winter one. A short suit would be more comfortable when the water is warmer and you are spending more time on the beach itself, however if a short suit is too larger it tends to shift around much more giving you're a very sour neck. Most Circle One longies make good summer and winter suits because they are thin enough that you will not get too hot in the summer but it is still bearable in January/ February, however it is still important to get one the right size because wearing one which is too small will restrict your movement and one which is too large will rub on your neck and chest. and managed to pick it up for only £50 online. Basically the summer is the wrong time to buy a cheap wetsuit as it is when demand is highest.

As can be seen above, I managed to get a bit of a bargain, which is possibly why I think it is such a good suit for the money. But I think that even at £100 you would still be impressed. It has all the features of some of the more expensive suits but at the price of a cheap suit. And Gul is a well-known surf brand you know you are gettin a quality product.
