Gunn and Moore First Cricket Ball - Similar construction to a tennis ball but with a cricket seam and lower bounce - Excellent first ball for primary school children.
Advantages: power, pick-up, balance Disadvantages: the grip does become worn quite quickly.
I have used this bat for 2 seasons now and I have only good things to say about it. The standard I play to is certainly mediocre, yet occasionally when I play shots with this bat I am surprised by the power generated by the bat. I use a 2'7 so it is relatively light and the pick up is very nice. I highly reccomend this product.
The grip is that used only by Gunn and Moore and I liked it the minute I first used it. I play with a very heavy bottom hand and so the ribbed grip on the bottom half was especially useful. I find disgussing and purchasing cricket equipment a very interesting subject. I personally play cricket at a reasonably high level and have therefore used many items of equipment, produced by different brands. I have also been offered various sponsorship deals and am now astute to what equipment would be reccommenedable.

Because of the ribbons this ball doesn't run along the floor like you would expect a ball to but this doesn't bother me at all. I like the fact that it is a ball so I can teach my baby that it's okay to throw her balll but she should be looking after her other toys.
This toy is great, it ...
