The gym ball, swiss ball, fitness ball, stability ball or whatever other name it comes under, seems to have taken the fitness world by storm. These balls can be purchased in most sports shops, department stores, tv shopping channels, chemists and even supermarkets. Advantages: Great fun for exercise
Disadvantages: Take up a lot of room

I own one of these balls and find them very good for exercise. If you have access to the internet you will be surprised just how many sites you can find which will give you ways to use this ball for exercise. They are useful for toning up all parts of the body and they are fun to work with too. A word of advice, if you have pets, particularly dogs, then don't give them the idea this is a toy for them.
