Beauty at a Price

Advantages: Immaculately decorated and helpful staff who REALLY know their jobs.
Disadvantages: In my opinion, far too costly whether you are a student or not!

I visited Esporta Bolton as a member's guest. I was thinking of joining myself at the time and wanted to take a look at the facilities and weigh up the prices first. The facilities were fantastic, although I felt that the pool could have been a bit bigger. The club is immaculate inside and all the staff extremely helpful and friendly, they couldn't seem to do enough for you. The Esporta complex is quite large and also boasts a beautiful restaurant ...
...too as there is a fantastic kids area with lovely carers who play imaginitive and fun games with them whilst you work out! Inside the actual gym, there are TV's with Sky Television which extracts those awkward moments when you are on a machine and don't quite know where to look! a disgrace

Advantages: its cheep
Disadvantages: staff are unhelpful, violent and abusive. the management don't care

in my opinion you should never go anyware near this gym. the facilities suck and the staff are very abusive and unhelpful. i seen a disabled person being attacked and no one helped him. member of staff who hit the disabled man still works there. in my opinion, the staff are violent and the managemet just turn a blind eye to this. i found the gym very dirty and unhygenic, there was mould growng on the tiles in the shower area and outside the sauna. ...

OUGHT TO HAVE A WEALTH WARNING

Advantages: Good tennis
Disadvantages: Personally witnessing a long-standing member being refused entry.

OUGHT TO HAVE A WEALTH WARNING: The club appears to tie the members into very long contracts (currently, I believe 12 months notice) and this year when my membership was due for renewal the club did not adhere to their own contract with regards to price increases, 14a & 14b of the contract in particular. Disadvantages: Facilities

...has meant that companies like LA Fitness continue to operate when they ought to shrivel up and dissappear. This club is awful! Showers are closed, though if you were to go inside them you would find broken floor tiles and a leaking roof. Pool fit for penguins

Advantages: Usually empty
Disadvantages: Awful customer care, lack of pool heating.

LA Fitness head office have no interest in my complaints about the pool and for the way they deal with members you should simply AVOID joining one of their clubs unless you want to be lied to repeatedly.
