Esporta Bristol
Review of Esporta Club, Bristol by razzer246

Advantages: friendly staff, plenty of gym equipment
Disadvantages: noisy bar

We joined this gym as it is close to home. I find the staff here very friendly and helpful. The facilities are all I need-an average size pool with a steam room, jacuzzi and sauna, a gym with plenty of every type of equipment and also a wide choice of classes to take part in. For those with babies/young children there is also a nursery open all day. As well as the above, there is also a bar. This bar is generally very busy and can be full of children ...
...noisy. The bar does food too, which I have found to be really tasty. The facilities are generally well maintained and clean. At the time of writing this review, they are undergoing a refurbishment of the whole place, which is making it a lot more pleasant to use. ... Read review

Relaxation at Living Well, Bristol
Review of Living Well, Bristol by sweetbev

Advantages: Everything.
Disadvantages: Finding it.

...and affable, and the food, delivered to your table, SUPERB. The manicurists were excellent, very friendly and efficient. Nothing was felt to be too much trouble for them. I have emailed both the Living Well head office, and Boots, to apprise them of our opinions. We would heartily reccommend it. ... Read review

Curves in Redhill
Review of curves international, womens sport centre by sonjaangel

Advantages: very friendly and ethusiastic staff, fun, cheap
Disadvantages: parking, opening hours

...One day I came across Curves website when searching on Google. Their venue is based in heart of Shopping mole in Redhill. I decided to phone them and find out some information about their concept and price... They were very helpful and well trained to tell you everything you need to know about Curves. I still couldnt believe that 30mins workout 3x weekly could make you tone up and lose weight in combination with healthy lifestyle and right food ...
...by parking in front of Curves by realising that every time I visit I will be charged because I parked at the shopping centre car park but there isnt any other parking avaliable in Redhill centre. It maybe doesnt sound like much £0.60/h but every time you want to pay for parking you have to go inside the shopping centre which is so tempting when you see all those shops and the mashine for paying could really be located nearer too. I got to the gym ... Read review

LA Fitness- Northolt
Review of LA Fitness- Northolt (Dragons) by zaza123456789

Advantages: nice friendly atmosphere
Disadvantages: dirty showers, bad customer service

Ive been going La Fitness Northolt since march, got a good membership offer although there was some details the rep did not tell me e.g. i can get a discount because im a student, or the fact that i couldnt cancel my memebrship unless i went bankrupt. customer service is very poor at this branch especially on the phone, otherwise pretty helpfull. ive always had a problem with the music never being loud enough while working out, ive never had an oppurtunity ...
...that they lack good customer service skills. equiptment nice and up to date yet there never seems to be enough cross-trainers, there is always one of service. ussually overcrowded after 6pm. pool too shallow to enjoy but nice, steam room and sauna nice and updated. easy to settle into a gym like this, very friendly members and staff, reviews and consultations with p.t's make you look forward to excersizing. I dont regret joinging this gym at all, ... Read review

Pole Dancing....carcraig won't give up her day job
Review of Pinkkiss Pole Dance Classes by carcraig

Advantages: Brilliant laugh, novelty factor
Disadvantages: Pricey as exercise class, the aches & pains, the neighbours wanting a demonstration in the back garden.....

...for our day was a Pinkkiss Pole Dancing Class *gulp*… Now I had been told that Pole Dancing is very good for toning and fitness and it is regarded as a credible exercise form. I'm not sure, however, that 16 girls/women in the tipsy state we were in, doing ANYTHING could be considered a healthy pursuit. No matter the alcohol definitely helped to reduce our inhibitions and we were all game to have a go. Our particular lesson took place in a club ...
...us. I checked the Pinkkiss website though, and a two hour class will set you back £25 based on a class of eight people or more. Pricey as an exercise class may be, but not bad for a special occasion. Pinkkiss hold classes in 28 cities around the UK so there's likely to be one near you! They also offer Burlesque Dance and Cheerleading classes *shakes pompoms* So would I recommend it? As a one-off - absolutely! It was a brilliant laugh, good exercise ... Read review
