I'm sorta off Esporta

Advantages: Great equipment, good range of classes
Disadvantages: Expensive, impersonal, membership administration

I joined Esporta because I wanted a gym that would let me use its clubs all over the country, as I was doing a lot of travelling at the time. So Esportas Freeway membership seemed like a good idea. They have clubs all over the country which you can use at no extra cost and they're in nearly every big city. Gloucester was my 'home' club. The Peak of Fitness

Advantages: Good classes, excellent customer service
Disadvantages: No pool

I joined Peak Fitness after my not-so-brilliant experiences with the Gloucester Esporta (see other op). Peak Fitness is about 5 minutes from our new house, and had been reccomended to me by several people at work. a disgrace

Advantages: its cheep
Disadvantages: staff are unhelpful, violent and abusive. the management don't care

in my opinion you should never go anyware near this gym. the facilities suck and the staff are very abusive and unhelpful. i seen a disabled person being attacked and no one helped him. member of staff who hit the disabled man still works there. in my opinion, the staff are violent and the managemet just turn a blind eye to this. i found the gym very dirty and unhygenic, there was mould growng on the tiles in the shower area and outside the sauna. ...

OUGHT TO HAVE A WEALTH WARNING

Advantages: Good tennis
Disadvantages: Personally witnessing a long-standing member being refused entry.

Disadvantages: Facilities

...has meant that companies like LA Fitness continue to operate when they ought to shrivel up and dissappear. This club is awful! Showers are closed, though if you were to go inside them you would find broken floor tiles and a leaking roof.
