Get fit!! Advantages: activities, cleanliness, very large, great customer service Disadvantages: price slightly high i attended virgin active a few months back now and after being shown around i become a member. The facilities available in the gym are absolutely fantastic, these include swimming pool, weights, CV equipment, Yoga equipment, Sauna, Steam room, Tanning beds, and a variet of classes such as boxing, cycling, circuits and light weights yoga, so everything for everyone really!! Esporta took nearly £400 without telling me Advantages: Good enough if you don't mind having money removed from your account against your will Disadvantages: Similar to the disadvantages of being mugged I was a member of Esporta Islington for a year or so and was reasonably satisfied with their facilities. I then broke my arm and suspended my membership. A year and a half later I noticed unexpected withdrawals from my bank account. It was Esporta - they had reactiveated my account without telling me and removed almost £400 over 6 months before I had noticed. Poor customer service from Head Office. Broken and cold showers Advantages: variety of fitness classes, pool Disadvantages: lack of lockers, lack of usable showers, cramped fitness classes ...services, using all threatening manners to extract payment from you because they say you have signed an agreement, but then they themselves fail to fulfil their side of the agreement. LA Fitness gave us more stress ... Advantages: More Stress Disadvantages: Careless, not available managers, No hot water, dirty ... We came to LA Fitness to get out of our stressful life but almost every time that we used the gym there was enough problems in this gym to give us stress so why bother to come to LA Fitness after this contract finishes?
