Advantages: Super playable missions based on real events Disadvantages: Darn hard
There are a couple of different versions of this release, its actually part of NovaLogic's extremely successful Delta Force series of games. It appears they dropped the Delta Force label from some versions of the release but it still has all the elements of the original Delta Force & Delta Force: Land Warrior.
Basically you take on the role of a member of the Delta Force special ops team going in to rescue the guys downed in the Black Hawk helicopter crash in Mogadishu back in the 1990's.
All the missions are based on real scenarios that US Special Forces took on as missions. Let me tell you, they ARE NOT easy missions! I consider myself to be pretty experienced as someone who has completed both Delta Force AND Land Warrior and this series of missions are extremely tough.

a fan with a copy of Black Hawk Down, then you'll be sure to enjoy this add-on. Can't say i'm impressed with the new weapons or the over-hiked price tag, but the missions - multiplayer especially - are numerous and sporadically fun.

If, on the other hand, your experiances with Delta Force have turned you on to bigger and better games, then be aware there's absolutely nothing here that would cause you to shift your allegiance. Despite the addition of Team Sabre, Delta Force still remains inferior to many of the deeper, more complex and better-looking competitors out there.
Price is still around about £20.00, still quite expensive. ...

Black Hawk Door is a first person shooter, the next in the Delta Force series of games, it has the same name as the film and the book but is not made by the same people although it is obviously using it as a base.
Story
You play as a soldier in the American Army and the game is set in Somalia in the 1990's, you are on a peacekeeping mission so you have to protect convoys, provide security and defend areas from attack and for each mission you play a soldier from different regiment.
Game play
A average first person shooter with weapons based on real weapons at the time. The levels are all pretty much standard for a shooter game you have to follow the path set out not much area for you to explore
