    I have a Claude Butler bicycle that I like to make sure is safe from theives when I leave it anywhere. I needed a new bicycle cable and lock so went to shop at Halfords. I choose a 180cm long cable with lock attached. This bike lock and cable has a security rating of 4 which classes of high in the range 1-3 basic then 4=7 high and 8-10 maximum. I decided that it should give me sufficient protection for my bicycle. The cable is a good length sufficient for me to wrap it around a fixed post and both wheels. I have quick release nuts on my wheels and it’s so easy for someone to nick just a wheel ... more
