...Another excellent product from the Hope range. The hub is perfect for all types of riding, its light enough for xc riders and also strong enough for the downhill riders. It runs on sealed cartridge bearings that are easily changeable, instructions can be found on the Hope website. The hub body is made of cnc'd aluminum so its light and still strong. It also has the standard 6-bolt disc mount so its compatible with all brake systems. The 20mm axle means it creates a very stiff wheel and front end of the bike that will take all abuse. ..." seems to be the bottom limit for these things. As I said before fitting a rear light could be problematical since most seem to have standardised on a tube clip for a fixture. When fitting a front light to the handle bars, check it for clearance when folded - it may foul the wheel spokes or the ground and end up with a heavily scratched lens Tool-wise, there's very little need for any except the correct sized spanner to remove the wheel nuts, plus whatever else you carry to repair punctures 'on the hoof'. Personally, I'd take a new inner tube and non-metal tyre levers and leave it at that. Repairs are much better done at home at your leisure where you can get the offending tube to a sink to check for leaks. Yes, where are the 'nearby puddles' or duck ponds when you need one? Advantages: grind anything you want

...The Higgs Bossons are odd to say the least, but they definitely get the job done. The Soviet Union was odd, but also got the job done. They stayed a Super Power for the better part of the 20th century through methods not everyone understands. The Higgs Bosson, true to form, grind very well, but not everyone understands exactly how. The design of the wheel is closer to an octagon than a wheel. I was expecting to stick, or not be able to come off of a grind smooth; I was wrong. I allowed Andrew Buist to skate the wheels for a while to give a wider variety of opinions towards the wheels. Andrew said, "The wheels are like an extension of the frame," that should give you an idea of how well these wheels were sliding and performing for us.
