...Another excellent product from the Hope range. The hub is perfect for all types of riding, its light enough for xc riders and also strong enough for the downhill riders. It runs on sealed cartridge bearings that are easily changeable, instructions can be found on the Hope website. The hub body is made of cnc'd aluminum so its light and still strong. It also has the standard 6-bolt disc mount so its compatible with all brake systems. The 20mm axle means it creates a very stiff wheel and front end of the bike that will take all abuse. It comes in all the standard hope colours so you can easily match it to you colour scheme. A superb hub well worth the money, it will last forever... Read review

Advantages: grind anything you want
Disadvantages: slower than flat set-up

...The Higgs Bossons are odd to say the least, but they definitely get the job done. The Soviet Union was odd, but also got the job done. They stayed a Super Power for the better part of the 20th century through methods not everyone understands. The Higgs Bosson, true to form, grind very well, but not everyone understands exactly how. The design of the wheel is closer to an octagon than a wheel. I was expecting to stick, or not be able to come off of a grind smooth; I was wrong. I allowed Andrew Buist to skate the wheels for a while to give a wider variety of opinions towards the wheels. Andrew said, "The wheels are like an extension of the frame," that should give you an idea of how well these wheels were sliding and performing for us. Advantages: fun, something different, comfortable

...on the front of the shoe. With the single wheeled versions of Heelys you get a plug which will fit into the gap left by the wheel and you also get a tool to remove the plug, however Heelys do not currently make plugs to fit the two wheeled verion of Heelys but the wheels are still removable. All wheels can be replaced and Heelys make faster wheels for more advanced skaters. You will probably have seen many kids flying about on Heelys but its not as easy as it looks, it does take practise to get used to (4 days in my case!) as the technique used is different to roller skating or inline skating as you always have to have one foot in front of the other (this is how you keep your balance) rather than side by side. You have to figure out which foot feels most comfortable in front and you lift your toes up so that you are balanced on the wheel... Read review
