Now that's the real deal!

Advantages: Some fantastic auction moments.
Disadvantages: David Dickinson....

Dickinson's Real Deal is hosted by David Dickinson who is an 'expert' in the antiques industry. Members of the public are invited to come to a particular auction room or place of public interest and they will bring their treasured possessions along with them. There are a few different experts on the panel, one of whom will look at the items on offer and then make an offer to purchase the product. The member of the public can then haggle to try and get more money, choose to take the offer or just decide to take the item to auction and see how they get on there instead. David Dickinson will be standing by and if he feels that people are getting short changed or if the independent valuer thinks that the item is worth more or less than David will step in and give the panellist and the member of the public his opinion on whether the cash ...

Review of Dickinson's Real Deal

Storm v power, Bowling Ball

Advantages: Not as expensive as the USA versions
Disadvantages: Too fierce for dry lanes

Technical Specifications Coverstock: Aggressive Solid Reactive Weight Block: Inverted RAD3 Finish: 1000-grit Smooth Logos: Gyration: 2.52 Differential: 0.055 Durometer: 74-76 Track Flare: 6" plus Length: 5 Backend: 9 The X-Factor V-Power is a limited release overseas version of the X-FActor Triple Xtreme, with a Strong, Solid Reactive, coverstock. This is a very good ball for medium to heavy oiled lanes. You can adjust this ball to suit your style. I have left mine sanded to 1000 (factory finish) or you can go for the polished finish which will make the ball go longer on oily lanes. If your lanes are very dry forget this ball as it will start gripping the lane early on and you will miss your target by a fair distance. I have been using this ball at Tolworth for a few sessions now and had a fairly good outcome. The ball seems to ...

Review of Storm v power, Bowling Ball

Its on the ball

Advantages: efective little cleaner
Disadvantages: Noisy

I have a small home so when I needed a new vacuum cleaner I chose the Dyson DC24 which is a smaller version of the standard model. It cost £189.99. I was expecting almost a child sized vacuum cleaner but there is not really much difference at all. It was so simple to put together, there are peel off stickers on the unit to explain things as you go. It only took me 5 minutes to have it assembled. The ball makes vacuuming effortless, and the head of the vacuum is narrow so its easy to get under the sofa, low tables, etc. It has strong suction as you would expect from a Dyson but it is surprising how full the cylinder is when you have finished. It really gets everything up. This does mean however that you need to empty the dust cylinder quite frequently. The power cable is short and not retractable which can look a bit untidy if it is ...
