I bought this camera as an upgrade to the trusty and superb Canon A75. I'd still have the old camera were it not for the fact that I popped into Jessops (superb camera shop) one Sunday afternoon a few weeks back? "Just for a look" definitely wasn't going to buy anything, but you know how the story goes!
Looking in the brightly lit display cabinets a couple of cameras caught my eye, so had to have a closer look. The friendly shop assistant grabbed Sony's H2 & H5 for me to look at and get the feel of, the H2 is basically the same camera but with a 1.8" screen & 6mp compared to the H5's 3" & 7.2mp CCD.
Sensibility and my head should have told me to buy the H2 due to a lower price, but gadget lust, my heart and the pure hugeness of that giant screen ...
Advantages: good allrounder. Disadvantages: less padded than some, lack of head support.
seat! the covers are easy to remove for cleaning although i found a damp cloth works just as well.
i did find that when the little one fell asleep and his hed flopped to one side if i went round corner his head would flop to the other side (even when the seat was reclined). i believe there is a head pad available from maxi cosi but it can only be used when the harness is in the lowest position.
when adjusting the harness hieght i found it was rather fiddly task. it took me about 10-15 mins to remove then rethread the harness.
i would say this is a good all round seat. light enough to transfer between cars quickly and easily but still feel safe a solid when installed.
i would recomend this seat to a friend however i would advice them to look around and try out other seats as well before they buy. ...

The DSC-H5 is a wonderfully smart piece of technology from Sony, that in my opinion is leading in the 'value for money' category of digital cameras to date. Its sleek and stylish appearance only emphasises the photographic potential this clever little camera has.
Initially whilst shopping for a new camera, the DSC-H5 was the only camera that stood out significantly in terms of class and design. Being able to use and test the camera out in the store was very helpful in reassuring my first impressions, and i fell in love with it, spending up to half an hour just fiddling about with all of its amazing features and assets.
