Advantages: Great spin, good strokes all round, decent serves and volleys. Good all-round racket. Disadvantages: 107sq inch headsize, possibly too big? Not too much control on volleys. but that is all!
Iv'e had this racket for approx 6 months. Was moving from a Babolat Aeropro drive (original), only because I just don't think the Babolat is particularly suited to my game (And the strings broke!). I'm a steady player, not brilliant but still play well. I bought it from the Tennis Warehouse website in the US. I had it custom strung with Head Sonic Pro 17 gauge string at 60lbs. I didn't know much about the strings or the tension but enough to kinda know what I was doing after reading many reviews! At first I found the racket hard to get used to, shots spraying all over the shop and just pretty poor play! However, I think this was down to my ability at the time and the change between rackets. I decided to keep playing with it anyway, (I didnt have much choice as the Babolat was being re-strung anyway). After few days of hitting my strokes ...
Advantages: Light but tough Disadvantages: poor factory grip
I bought this squash racket as a amateur after my last racket broke the strings and I thought it better to buy a good racket rather than replace the strings.
The price was fantastic as a i bought it in Lilywhites with 70% off, but if buying full price i would say it is a bit pricey. However the performance of the racket if top draw. I've had it for a few years now and still it is serving me very well.
The durability of this racket is one of the hidden qualities i have found. With me not being a brilliant squash player, I've had my fair share of wall hits, but the protective plastic on the frame is still protecting and it has not even chipped or scratched.
The racket also looks very good and I've been asked many a time if i could lend my racket for people to have a go. it hits well and suits a hard hitting game but can equally handle ...
Advantages: a good racket Disadvantages: breaks without any reason to speak of
i am a county tennis player and have used headrackets all my life. i have never had a problem with them until recently - myself and my sister who also plays at county level used the TiS6 racket and after a few months the frames of both our rackets began to rattle. we sent the product back to head who sent us fresh rackets. true to form, 3 months later the same problem occurred which inclined me to believe that there may be a design flaw with these rackets. do not get me wrong, they are superb rackets while they last, but unfortunately they have a tendancy not to last very long ...
