Suunto Vector Black Negative face

Advantages: Light weight, good features if calibrated properly. Rugged.
Disadvantages: Quite big, but it does do a lot to be fair!!!!

...the older watches in the suunto range it doesn't have the function as some of the newer one s do of being able to freeze the altimeter mode when at home and leave it in Barometer mode and then switch to Altimeter when out hiking, but i don't see this as any major deal. Pray for the battery not failing

Advantages: easy to use, accuracy
Disadvantages: non green throw away transmitter when battery dies

...to boost their sales and profit?? They used a CR2032 battery and with normal use, they last about 1 year or so. I will never buy polar again, instead I bought a similar unit from Lloyd Pharmacy which costs £8, yes £8 !!! and you can change the batteries!!!! ...
