HR Monitoring Made Easy

Advantages: Great range fo features, great accesories, reliable brand
Disadvantages: Very expensive compared to other heart rate monitors

Pray for the battery not failing

Advantages: easy to use, accuracy
Disadvantages: non green throw away transmitter when battery dies

...to boost their sales and profit?? They used a CR2032 battery and with normal use, they last about 1 year or so. I will never buy polar again, instead I bought a similar unit from Lloyd Pharmacy which costs £8, yes £8 !!! and you can change the batteries!!!! ...

Great for the price !

Advantages: Cheap, simple
Disadvantages: Update frequency too slow, not really accurate.

Great watch. I've not used all the function yet, but everything is pretty simple. The hart rate update a little slow to my preference.So often I can see reading like: 90, 120, 85 ... not as accurate as I would like, but still a nice watch. The strap is 30m water resistant, but they say that in the water the transmission might not be as good as normal. So I would not recommend this particular model if you are a swimmer (as it's not super accurate ...

The watch is made strong. I've broker ALL the watch I've possess, but I think that this one will last, as the "wrist band/bracelet" is incorpoted to the watch.
