After the success with the Helly Hansen undershorts I had to try out a base layer jersey.
I have tried dri-fit tops before, and whilst they have been good and locking away most of the moisture, I have never tried one which has kept my as dry as the Helly Hansen Lifa.
Like the Lifa shorts, the top is made out of 100% polypropylene. As with the shorts tha top is skin tight and seamless to ensure that moisture is kept away from the skin and to ensure that there is zero chaffing.
Just like the shorts - the lifa is designed to be a base layer and have another top or jersey put over the top. The advert states ideal for warm to cool days - I think that this top is for cool to cold days since it is very warm. The long sleeves ensure that the whole upper body is kept covered and benefits from the stay dry effect.
Saying this though the Lifa top could be used on its own. It is stylish so it does not have to be covered up, it just depends on how brave the rider is - or if you like the lycra look and want to show it off. lol.
At £25 the lifa top, like the lifa shorts, is at the cheaper end of the market. However, for that you get a good quality brand that is renowned for outdoor clothing. This makes the Lifa fantastic value for money.
The Lifa top is great. Just like the shorts, it locks away 100% of the moisture and makes the ride a lot more enjoyable. Riding whilst wet/sweaty and chaffing clothes is not good fun.
I would highly recommend this product to any cyclist whether they are novice or expert, a mountain biker or a road trialist.

Hmmmmmmmm, doesn't seem that fair that after writing 30 reviews you have only rated two reviews! Fair is fair, you can't expect others to rate you when you can't be bothered to do your share! Sorry but if everyone did that then no reviews would get rated! If you rate others you will find you end up getting more ratings on your reviews too. Laura
