Advantages: Fairly economical, 4 doors, decent sized boot Disadvantages: Not the best at holding the road on corners
I bought this car several months ago, to replace my old 1.3 Polo hatchback. The reasons for buying it were it was a very good deal at the time, and it was a newer model, with more boot space, and more doors (for ease of getting my 2 year old into her car seat).

The first ever Volkswagen was designed in 1934 by Ferdinand (Ferry) Porsche, with his father, who, as you may have guessed by the name was also responsible for the birth of the Porsche car, after the 2nd World War. By 1949 1,000,000 VWs had been made.
VW are famous for many cars, including the Golf, Passat, Scirocco, sadly no longer made, and of course, the Polo.
The Polo was introduced in 1975 (although not introduced to UK until a year later), and updated in 1981 and again in 1990, along with the sporty G40 coupe version ...
Advantages: Suction is brilliant. Disadvantages: Looks are a little industrial.

This review is on the very robust Henry Numatic model HVR 200. You will know it as soon as you see it as it has a smiley face, and comes in four colours, red green blue & yellow, well now they have added another to the range - PINK!!! Technically this one is called HETTY, but it is identical otherwise.
The shape is cylindrical, but not laid down, it is upright, like an oil drum, and has a buffer ring surrounding it, which does not mark walls. It is mounted on castors, and so is easy to move about.
As for the suction, I can only say it is brilliant, the cable is wound up neatly in it's own drum, all tools are there, the machine itself is light enough to be carried up the stairs, what more could you want in a cleaner?
There is of course a down side, but not much of one, for instance it is not easy to vacuum the stairs as ...

Before I start my opinion on the Volkswagen Polo, I would like just to let you know that I don’t actually own this car, but am very near to purchasing one. I have trawled through internet sites, opinions, magazines and company reps to gain the knowledge that I have; I hope it helps anyone interested in the Volkswagen Polo!
