Like a bottle but much better

Advantages: Robust, convenient
Disadvantages: Difficult to clean, not much cargo space

...at this point, the word Camelbak crept into my mind. The Rogue is much the same as any other Camelbak in that it has a large blue reservoir with a tube waving somewhere near your mouth, carrying as two litres. This also keeps your drink pleasantly cool for a long time and has none of the plasticky taste that I'd expected. In addition to the large insulated reservoir pocket at the back of the Rogue, there are two other pockets on the front, one ...
...feel cautious about snagging the Camelbak on a tree. This turns out not to be the case, and you soon get used to it, forgetting about it until you need to take a sip. Another pleasant thing about the Camelbak is the way that the mouthpiece isn't affected by mud thrown up from your front wheel in the same way that bottles are. Now the only problem is how to clean the thing. Camelbak sell a reservoir dryer, specially designed to allow air to get ...

The bag is a beast!

Advantages: Strong, durable, roomy and compartmentalised
Disadvantages: None

This camelbak is a beast! I go mountain biking at least once a week plus I cycle to work on 3 or 4 days a week and this bag goes everywhere with me. It's big enough to carry (without the water bladder) a pair of trousers, a shirt, a tie, a pair of shoes, a waterproof jacket and my tools (bike pump, tyre levers, multi tool, 2 spare inner tubes and lube). EDIT ** I forgot to say, I can also fit a plastic freezer bag with a freezer block, sandwiches, ...
...on a weekday as well as a quite chunky 2 metre long cable lock.** On the weekend I normally carry the waterproof, the tools, a banana and some flapjack plus around 2 to 2.5 litres of water. On the weekend I usually use the compression staps to make the bag fit snuggly around everything but allowing it to be as small as possible. The bag has an mp3 player pocket, two side pockets, a front mesh expandable pocket, a tools pocket and a main compartment. ...

The daysack that allows your toddler more freedom!

Advantages: Allows your child more freedom, and also less moaning from boredom
Disadvantages: takes forever to get somewhere as my son still walks slowly

As my son is at the age where he just wants to be off exploring when we are out and about (instead of being content sitting in his pram or being held in our arms), I thought that this little bag would be a good buy. Attached to the bag is a rein, which keeps the little monster in check while also giving him the freedom he wants. It is for use between the ages of six months and four years. We got ours from John Lewis for a price of £13.95. Before ...
...one, but everywhere that sells them does so for roughly the same price. Fitting and use As with a normal rucksack, your child’s arms go through the shoulder straps. These can then be clipped together to prevent the straps slipping off the shoulders. The straps need to be tightened to a secure fit and the bag must always be central on your child’s back. Ensure that your little one is comfy at all times. The rein gets clipped onto a D ring located ...

Great lightweight pack to cycle with

Advantages: Evabreathe technology stops your back sweating / lightweight / camelbak ready
Disadvantages: Only a small day sack so limited contents

I bought this about two months ago as my old day sack was just too big to cycle comfortably. Got a great price as the shop matched the website special price £34.99. I needed a camelbak and if i bought one i got a half price head torch (35 lumens) Great sack though very lightweight and the evabreathe straps and back make it a breeze to wear comfortably. I try to cycle to work most days and its just over a 10 miles round trip and my back doesnt ...
...frame makes it sit off your back whilst the evebreathe technology does its thing! With a camelbak in situ (coming out of a hole cleverly labelled H20) your good to go and no need for drinks bottles! The waist strap with the funky and easy to use bergbuckle fits great as does the elasticated upper chest strap. Another great feature of this sack is the rain cover that is situated in the bottom of the sack accessed by a zip. This silver, logo emblazoned ...
