Like a bottle but much better
Review of Camelbak Rogue 70oz Hydration Pack by Pritch

Advantages: Robust, convenient
Disadvantages: Difficult to clean, not much cargo space

...at this point, the word Camelbak crept into my mind. The Rogue is much the same as any other Camelbak in that it has a large blue reservoir with a tube waving somewhere near your mouth, carrying as two litres. This also keeps your drink pleasantly cool for a long time and has none of the plasticky taste that I'd expected. In addition to the large insulated reservoir pocket at the back of the Rogue, there are two other pockets on the front, one ...
...feel cautious about snagging the Camelbak on a tree. This turns out not to be the case, and you soon get used to it, forgetting about it until you need to take a sip. Another pleasant thing about the Camelbak is the way that the mouthpiece isn't affected by mud thrown up from your front wheel in the same way that bottles are. Now the only problem is how to clean the thing. Camelbak sell a reservoir dryer, specially designed to allow air to get ... Read review

Camelbak ThermoBak
Review of CamelBak Trail Blazer Hydration Pack - 70 oz. by thereviewersblog

Advantages: 4 colours to choose from, Excellent Quality, readily available
Disadvantages: Mold tends to grow in bit head,

...The Thermobak is a CamelBak now issued to the British Armed Forces. It is constructed with a rugged Cordura outer which is available in 4 colours. The design allows the easy filling for use, as well pack comes with fitted straps which can best folded away easily to allow the pack to be shackled to webbing easily. However, the British DPM version now has PLCE clips, so it can be attached to any PLCE. Maintenance & Cleaning If you need to get the ...
...now, follow the cleaning recommendations made by Camelbak. Since I already owned a Camelback, I already own the cleaning equipment which contains 2 brushes and a hanger. But remember when drying, inside the mouth piece mold may grow if not dried properly. Conclusion I use this on nearly all 'adventure training; I wouldn't go without it by choice. This simple design is incredibly versatile, and can go just about anywhere a human can. I wouldn't hesitate ... Read review

A great rucksack with many pouches and uses
Review of CamelBak Havoc by drizelthecam66

Advantages: Great for sking, many pockets
Disadvantages: Can't think of any, such a good bag

This is the perfect rucksack for any adventurers out there, with many pockets for specific uses, like a soft pocket for goggles or glasses, a pocket for avalanche probes, and a pocket and hole for mp3 player and head phones, also great for biking due to the 2 litre hydration pack that is neatly stored haning from the bag, the tube has a lock so no water can dribble out. Very thin and extremely compfortable. the fabric is very durable and has two ... Read review

A no-fuss, water tank
Review of CamelBak M.U.L.E 100oz by alimason

Advantages: good capacity, no plastic flavour, rugged
Disadvantages: rather expensive, difficult to fill

I bought my camelbak after completing a cycling trip, where i watched my friend drink endlessly all day long, whilst i emptied my bottle by mid-morning then went thirsty for the rest of the day. There is no doubt that i now drink far more than before, firstly because the camelbak has the capacity for me to do so and secondly because drinking is no longer a military operation in itself, it is easy to reach round and put that tube in my mouth. Befor ...
...funny plastic taste to my water, but after using i was pleasantly suprized and in fact there is no flavouring. The system to withdraw water, where you have to bite the end of the tube to open the valve also impressed me as there were no leaks. The small amount of storage space is also useful as it is sufficient for any chocky bars, repair kits, plasters, etc but is small enough to deter you from putting any un-necessary items in it. I also found ... Read review

Camelbak Classic, absolutely fantastic
Review of Camelbak Cleaning Brush Set by chrisradband

Advantages: small, copact, just enough for a couple of hours...
Disadvantages: not big enough for longer rides/outings...

As a fan of Camelbak and its range of products I currently have three different bags, the Classic, MULE and HAWG. I've used most of them for years and have never been disappointed by their performance... The Classic is great if you’re just riding for a couple of hours and need nothing much more than a multi-tool, car keys, phone and a drink and would be my choice if this was all I needed in preference to a water bottle and saddle bag or one of the ...
...so the use of the Camelbak is still really worthwhile and very useful when riding or doing any other outdoor activity for that matter. The Classic’s storage space consists of pretty much just one small zipped pocket, not great if you’re going on an expedition or even an all day ride but plenty just for the essentials and a drink, this small size means that the bag is amazingly compact and slim-lie on your back. Another benefit of the Camelbak design ... Read review
