Advantages: Allows your child more freedom, and also less moaning from boredom Disadvantages: takes forever to get somewhere as my son still walks slowly
As my son is at the age where he just wants to be off exploring when we are out and about (instead of being content sitting in his pram or being held in our arms), I thought that this little bag would be a good buy. Attached to the bag is a rein, which keeps the little monster in check while also giving him the freedom he wants. It is for use between the ages of six months and four years. We got ours from John Lewis for a price of £13.95. Before ... ...one, but everywhere that sells them does so for roughly the same price. Fitting and use
As with a normal rucksack, your child’s arms go through the shoulder straps. These can then be clipped together to prevent the straps slipping off the shoulders. The straps need to be tightened to a secure fit and the bag must always be central on your child’s back. Ensure that your little one is comfy at all times. The rein gets clipped onto a D ring located ...
Advantages: Evabreathe technology stops your back sweating / lightweight / camelbak ready Disadvantages: Only a small day sack so limited contents
I bought this about two months ago as my old day sack was just too big to cycle comfortably.
Got a great price as the shop matched the website special price £34.99.
I needed a camelbak and if i bought one i got a half price head torch (35 lumens)
Great sack though very lightweight and the evabreathe straps and back make it a breeze to wear comfortably. I try to cycle to work most days and its just over a 10 miles round trip and my back doesnt ... ...frame makes it sit off your back whilst the evebreathe technology does its thing!
With a camelbak in situ (coming out of a hole cleverly labelled H20) your good to go and no need for drinks bottles!
The waist strap with the funky and easy to use bergbuckle fits great as does the elasticated upper chest strap.
Another great feature of this sack is the rain cover that is situated in the bottom of the sack accessed by a zip. This silver, logo emblazoned ...

Advantages: Comfortable to carry even when it it full & heat resistant... Disadvantages: Nothing to report as of yet
...We have recently purchased two Berghaus Freeflow backpacks for the trip. Upon my first impressions they were very small and there was no way I could put everything I needed into this one bag, but after further inspection I have found it to be rather spacious. THE BACKPACK The Berghaus Freeflow IV 35 +8 is a backpack that has a thirty five litre capacity and a further eight litre capacity in the from of two extra expandable space pockets on each side ... ...slightly cheaper than buying from Berghaus themselves. We bought the plain black and plain navy backpacks, but you can get these in various colours such as green, blue, red and even multi colours. MY OPINION The two extra space pockets on each side of the pack are going to be very handy, as I can store stuff that I need to get to quickly easily without having to un-pack the whole of the main compartment. These will store things like sun cream, insect ...
Advantages: can store food and supplies for months at a time in the wilderness Disadvantages: far too big for hiking on a small scale
This rucksack is clearly designed for prolonged hiking with uncertain sources or resupply. short hikes, or even long hikes in well established areas will find this rucksack innapropriate. It is of little use in Britain, except in the Scottish highlands, as most areas of interest to hikers are very much accessible. it is common to see soldiers of various abilities running with this level of rucksack, in preparation for duty as they are incredibly ... ...due to the high capacity. The rucksack is easily adjustable, as a female i feel this is an integral part of requirements for a rucksack, and can be fitted to someone perfectly. the shoulder straps and the main metal braces that fit behind the back buried within the rucksack also adjust for those with a shorter back. the padding is ideal for a certain amount of comfort, or as much as is physically possible to gain from a full 100 litre rucksack. the ...
