...As a 27 handicapper, I bought these clubs new from the local shop. The only reason I bought them where due to these particular clubs being 1" oversize.
The clubs came with a reputation of 'forgiveness' and forgive they do. The sweet spot is large, a hacker like me can usually hit a good enough shot with the occassional beauty. They always feel fantastic when hitting the sweet spot.
For some reason, I'm able to get heaps of spin from these clubs using standard Wilson staff balls. I've hit hard Australian greens and have stopped them dead.
These clubs give a great feel and inspire confidence at address. I've couple the clubs with Hippo Impact 10.5 driver and a lofty five wood. Being a 27, the above points are important. I've found that having full confidence in my clubs has improved my game allready and will continue to do so....

...The 975D is the sort of driver that everyone should have as it makes the most impressive sound on impact of any driver I have ever heard. Apart from that though, how does it fair against other Drivers on the market - such as the Callaway ERCII or the Taylor Made 300 series? Actually it does remarkably well. I use the 8 degree Driver and find that the ball flight is very good and am now hitting the ball straighter than I ever had. The distance off the tee is very useful and also the ability to shape shots is good as it can sometimes be hard to do this with a driver but easy with this club. I work in a pro shop so know a lot about this sort of thing - take my word for it this is a great club (bit pricy though!)...

I PURCHASED A NEW DRIVER AFTER YEARS PLAYING WITH ANOTHER LEADING BRAND WITH GREAT SUCCESS (my handicap is 7)BUT THE LURE OF NIKES GLOSSY MARKETING CAMPAIGN AND THE FACT THAT TIGER HIMSELF USES THIS DRIVER GRADUALLY WORE ME DOWN AND SEVEN MONTHS AGO I TOOK THE PLUNGE AND BOUGHT ONE.
THE DRIVER COST £299.00 FROM A ONLINE GOLF STORE AND AS IT ARRIVED I OPENED IT AND I WAS AMAZED TRULY AMAZED. THIS DRIVER WHILST NOT REALLY COVENTIONAL IN TERMS OF DESIGN AND COLOUR IS BEAUTIFUL AND HAS A CHARM ALL OF ITS OWN. I HAVE USED THIS CLUB FOR SEVEN MONTHS AND AFTER...
