Advantages: Cheap, easy to use and well made Disadvantages: Not suited to all golfers. Not for the experts!
...used! I find the 7 the sweetest and most true club in the set while the 6 iron and myself cannot get on!
8,9 and PW
The 8 and 9 irons are great for high, short distance shots and the Pitching Wedge (PW) is excellent for getting it up and down is a really short distance. They provide great height and loft but do lack an amount of backspin. I think the grooves in the face, which generate the backspin, are not deep enough.
Let downs?
One thing this set lacks that I wish it had was a decent Sand Wedge. While Hippo make a sand wedge, they don?t make one that matches the set. This means you are going to have at least one odd iron club in the bag.
Overall.
For this value, you cannot turn it down. It?s a great package of irons for the beginning to improving golfer and one that will last you a while.
My tip?
Buy a set of Iron...

Advantages: Slick, shoots VERY easily, presentation, durability Disadvantages: Discolours
...I have fly fished for many years now (not going to say how many as it makes me feel old!) and I have used, abused and thrown away more floating lines than I can remember. Until now
I bought my first Snowbee line 5 years ago just as they started hitting the market. I had used many brands of lines up until then - Cortland, Lureflash, Airflo and was currently using a Shakespeare Worcestershire, and then I bought this 'new' line from a company who, at the time, mainly made waders
The lines were simply called Snowbee Prestige lines then. At the time, the Prestige line felt good. Easy to cast, shot through the rings well and was reasonably durable. It floated high on the water and served me well for 4 seasons before it was time to change. Of course, in this time the Prestige had become the XS and cost a little, but not a lot, more...

Advantages: Easy to use, great sweet spot Disadvantages: My playing partners call me Hippo
...As a 27 handicapper, I bought these clubs new from the local shop. The only reason I bought them where due to these particular clubs being 1" oversize.
The clubs came with a reputation of 'forgiveness' and forgive they do. The sweet spot is large, a hacker like me can usually hit a good enough shot with the occassional beauty. They always feel fantastic when hitting the sweet spot.
For some reason, I'm able to get heaps of spin from these clubs using standard Wilson staff balls. I've hit hard Australian greens and have stopped them dead.
These clubs give a great feel and inspire confidence at address. I've couple the clubs with Hippo Impact 10.5 driver and a lofty five wood. Being a 27, the above points are important. I've found that having full confidence in my clubs has improved my game allready and will continue to do so....

One day last month I found our 3 month old DVD player no longer worked (back to the shop for you - if I can find the receipt). It was a really nice (though cheap) DivX DVD player. It had a USB interface so I could watch DivX files from our computer via a more
