Advantages: brilliant gameplay and the great graphics Disadvantages: none
The first thing that hit me when I played Mat HoffmansPro BMX is the incredible similarity to both Tony Hawks and Tony Hawks 2. Is this a bad thing? HELL NO! Tony Hawks 1 and 2 are two of the best games I’ve played on any console. I may be a dedicated Ninty but that doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy great games on other platforms. MHP BMX is in fact made by the same people who made Tony Hawks. The same engine is used and the game plays almost exactly the same. So why’s this game so good? Because of those very reasons I just gave! A game that more than closely resembles Tony Hawks can’t be bad! Can it?!
I picked up the controls amazingly easily. They are just so simple. It’s this kind of simplicity that is missing from games today but thankfully MHP BMX has simplicity in abundance.

I agree on the bad service from nitrotek but i talked to a nicer guy who went through steps when i had my RC Condor he got me to send in the engine to be repaired which it came back worked fine, the only down side is the throttle servo will cut out every so often so get a fail safe and then your car is as safe as you, the tuning is bad i was told by a stricter guy from nitrotek that they were the easiest engines to tune on the market, i have to tune mine each time i use it, pull starters i had 2 for mine then gave up and bought an electric starter no problems, and get yourself a better glow plug standard issue is bad. ...
Mat HoffmanPro BMX is the latest biking game to grace the PS1, and it does so in style. Activision have done themselves justice with this amazing game, and from the opening video sequence, you will notice the close resemblance to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Similarities are noticeable immediately. Like THPS, Hoffman plays like a dream, and the graphics are amazing. If we had to find a new THPS, this would undoubtedly be it, hands down.
The first mode you will encounter is Career Mode. You are to choose from a vast selection of the most respected bikers, including Mat Hoffman, Mike Escamilla and many more.
