Hollywood F4 Heavy Duty Rack for 4 Bikes

Advantages: cheap to run, healthy way to get about, environmentally healthy
Disadvantages: heavy even with battery removed, not suitable for long distances

...We bought the bike from cedirecteast.co.uk and they delivered promptly. On the first day however my husband had a puncture and it was quite awkward to remove the back wheel to repair it and even more awkward to put it back on. However I am sure that it will get easier with practice. The wheel size is 12.5in and these are fairly easy to buy, as they are also sold for prams. The bike is quite heavy, 27k and even with the battery removed, it seems heavier than other bikes. However the up-side is that it is quite robust. It takes around 4 to 6 hours to charge up and it says on the website that you can get around 14 miles to each charge. I would say that this is very much dependent on the terrain. It clips onto a purpose built section of the frame, and a wire, similar to a personal radio's earphone cable, which protrudes from the computer connects to another similar cable which protrudes from the inner workings of the bike. I don't know what it does in there- the tempting answer is "not much", as you'll see further on in this review. It's this part of the whole affair that sounds interesting- you can sit on the bike, pedal away, and know that you've worked off yesterday's chocolate bar, or that if you cycle for another fourteen minutes, you can have a 1/2 pounder from the chippy rather than the 1/4 pounder. ...I have recently bought this bike from Halfords and I am very pleased with it. I originally had an old Raleigh bike, and after that broke on me after many years of use, I decided it was time to treat myself and get a new bike. I did abit of research and landed on this bike. I'm glad I did. The bike looks like it means business. It has front suspension with a lock out facility, which is especially useful when climbing uphill. The Shimano Deore gears work well, and their isn't any annoying noises or squeaks so far. Even the hydraulic gears work silently. The price did frighten me at first, but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for I recommend buying a heavy duty lock for it aswell.
