Advantages: Impressive, clean, well equiped and luxurious. Mixed and female gym, free towels, good range classes. Disadvantages: Can be very busy at peak times, especially the pool.
I have been a member for 3 years now and find it to be one of the more desirable gyms in Nottingham. It is very well located on London Road, Trent Bridge, which means it is very close to town but not at all difficult to get to like some of the more city based gyms. It has it's own private CCTV carpark, where you will find many an expensive sporty car, porsches, mercs, BMWs etc, which I find very reassuring as I have had my roof slashed at another ... ...more modest car, there are plenty of them too! Infact the good thing about this particular gym is that it is not 'clicky' with an overbearing social scene around the bar. The bar serves healthy juices with boosters and shots and is very health orientated.
Being female and often going on my own I make full use of the ladies only gym and the classes. The classes run off a timetable and there is something for everybody from yoga to spinning from beginner ...
