Advantages: 4 pot brake, hard wearing, solid build quality.
Disadvantages: Difficult to set up.

...when I upgraded to the Hope discs i could tell the difference immediately. these brakes are used by some of the top riders in the world so that obviously shows that they are a top component to add to your bike. Once set up they can be left until new pads are needed, they take a little time to set up however once they are done they are excellent, they do not need bleeding very often as they stop air getting into the system very well. Disadvantages: Set up is time consuming

...and stopping power that the Hope M4's have. The brakes came pre-bled so it was just a case of bolting them on and aligning them. This can be a bit time consuming as the pads sit close to the rotor so they have to aligned well to stop any rubbing. Once everything is set up these brakes are virtually maintenance free, only have to replace the pads ever so often.
