Advantages: Longlasting, made by a great British company Disadvantages: Can be a tad fiddly to fit.
I've had Hope brakes on my mountain bikes for longer than I care to remember, and I've currently got two full suspention bikes set up with Hope M4 brakes, I love the brakes, and have never had a problem with the Hopepads, so I've always stuck with them.
I live and ride in South Wales, where it's wet, rocky and more gritty than muddy. I always stick to the sintered pads, and make sure I bed them in properly before I take them out on their first ride. In summer, when it's a little dryer, I've even got a loop I use to specifically bed my pads in (how sad am I?). But it's worth it, as when bedded in properly, the pads last for many, many months before they need changing. Which is good, as although changing the pads isn't difficult, I more often than not, find it a bit of a faff.

My only real criticism of this brake is that it howls. This ranges from a high pitched squeal to a strange mooing sound that I can't really describe. Such is the popularity of these brakes now that many ...

Advantages: fast heat up, work VERY well. Disadvantages: The price of the mens bag!! (133 pounds!!)
Bear in mindf i'm only 12 :D I got my mini styler in the mens gift bag.
I first really wanted ghd's when loads of my friends said they were brilliant. I had alook on the web and was shocked to find they were around 70 quid! i put them on my christmas list and got them!! I have used them on me and other people loads.
When i opened them i got htem out straight away and plugged them in. They heat up in seconds!!!! I pulled them through my hair and it went straight really really straight!! My old straighteners i have not thrown away because they were quite good.
I recomend these 2 any1 who is looking for a lightweight easy 2 use straightener!!!!!!
