Advantages: Super strong and light, sealed bearings means it will work forever Disadvantages: 20mm axle means it wont work on all forks
...Another excellent product from the Hope range.
The hub is perfect for all types of riding, its light enough for xc riders and also strong enough for the downhill riders. It runs on sealed cartridge bearings that are easily changeable, instructions can be found on the Hope website. The hub body is made of cnc'd aluminum so its light and still strong. It also has the standard 6-bolt disc mount so its compatible with all brake systems. The 20mm axle means it creates a very stiff wheel and front end of the bike that will take all abuse. It comes in all the standard hope colours so you can easily match it to you colour scheme.
A superb hub well worth the money, it will last forever...

Advantages: Cheap,Sturdy,Powerfull Disadvantages: Brake fluid pump up on long downhills
...This is Hope`s entry level disk brake and is one hell of a brake for light DH to XC,its just so versatile.Coming from Hope, this brake is built to last and even if your brake does go wrong(Whether Lever,Caliper,Hose or Disk)parts are readily avaliable. This is one of the best brakes that you can buy for the money, especially as it now comes with a Pro lever as standard(Which used to cost £20 more!).The brake has a very progressive feel and has bags of power when it is needed,in the wet the brake performs just as well as in the dry and does not seem to squeel too much like other disk brakes. The only problem that i can see with this brake is on vey long downhills where the pads will need to be adjusted to combat the brake fluid pumping up,but this only applies to very long downhill where a lot of braking is needed. If you need a disk for your...

Advantages: It came with a new set of Ram clubs Disadvantages: I couldn't make it work for me!
...Perhaps if it had had stripes instead of the 2-ball make-up I might have done better!! I had been having a series of lessons from the Club Pro who assured me that the clubs I was using were not right for me. After a lot of debate (because new clubs are very expensive) I decided to splash out and try something new. The ones I settled on were Ram which came in a complete set with three graphite woods, 6 irons, pitching wedge, sand wedge and a putter.
I had played in many competitions with other people using a 2- or 3-ball putter and had been impressed by their putting, but unfortunately I just could not make it work for me. You would think with two balls and a line through to the front putting edge would make lining up so much easier, but not for me.
The putts would be slightly right, so I would make the slightest adjustjment...
