Advantages: Solid Feel / Price Disadvantages: Could use more hi-tech gadgets
...Regarding the basics, the HorizonTi 22 is quiet and has a solid feel. The LED monitor has a variety of settings and modes that allow me to adjust my workout.
The width of the unit is comfortable, so I don't feel as if I'm going to tip over or stumble when I walk.
The most important aspect to the entire unit is its solid feel. I weight 180 pounds, and when I run, I didn't want a machine that bounced, which will increase stress on knees. This unit provides the support I need to feel safe running even at speeds of a 7-minute mile.
The cup holder is pretty basic, and I would have rated it excellent if it had a dvd player like some of the others I looked at, but for the price, you can't go wrong.
Overall, if you're looking for solid build, reasonable price, and if you can forego some of the more expensive gadgets...

...Why The Horizon Sonic 11
If I am fit I am happy, if I can lose weight I am even happier. The weight is gradually going off from following the Atkins Diet, but I am nowhere near as fit as when I was working. I decided the only solution would be to get a treadmill of my own. I had two problems, it would have to be stored in the sitting room and it had to be quiet. Hubby likes watching the TV!!! I checked out reviews in Ciao and then looked in Ebay, but I...

Advantages: Exercise for the unfit.....with advanced features for the fitter Disadvantages: Doesn't remember last session stats | Manual Incline
...---
The Powerstrider, also has an incline function, sadly though this is manual, and needs to be set before you begin your exercise session. It's easy enough to set the incline, while the treadmill is in the folded position, and there is a choice between 0,5 and 10% incline.
---Advanced Functions---
As well as the manual program, where you choose which speed you walk/run at, there are a total of 6 programs, each with 3 levels of difficulty. These programs vary, from one that gently increases the speed to a peak and then drops back down again (this is the easiest) to ones that involve running. Now not being very fit, I've not tried running (yet), but I have tried the gentlest program (on the lowest level) and that gets my pulse rate into the working zone. Each of the programs defaults at 32 minutes, but you can shorten or increase the time, but if you...

I recently laid quick step uniclic flooring in a relatives bedroom. This is the 12th laminate floor I have laid, 6 were glued boards and 6 have been click style boards, so I'm definitely qualified to speak on the subject!
